Last week I shared a Mimi Monday blog post in which I showed an outfit for a day with the grandkids. I modeled a pair of comfort sandals and some loafers with that outfit, but I heard from reader after reader that they would wear sneakers instead if they were indeed spending the day with their grandchildren. I heard you! So today I’m teaming up with Keds to share a favorite pair of comfortable stylish sneakers for busy women…including mimis!

I’m a firm believer in wearing comfortable shoes at all times. Ladies, we’re just beyond the point of needing to sacrifice comfort for style.

Fortunately Keds has made it easier than ever to combine style and comfort. Their new BlissWalk collection features three easy-to-pair silhouettes that are all infused with blissful comfort and feminine style. Today I’m wearing the Keds BlissWalk knit slip on sneaker in oatmeal. You can use code KAYBLISS30 for 30% off the Keds BlissWalk collection through May 31, 2025, at Keds.com.

These BlissWalk knit slip on sneakers are specifically made for women and they feature a relaxed, roomier fit. If you have bunions or similar problems with your feet, these are definitely worth a try. I have a medium to slightly wide foot, and I find these to be pleasantly roomy but not too big. They fit true to my normal size, too.

All of the shoes in the Keds BlissWalk collection have supportive outsoles with added traction (for keeping steady on your feet when chasing the grandkids!). And they feature antimicrobial insole liners and breathable uppers to keep your feet dry and fresh as the day wears on. Super cushiony BlissFoam Tech™ footbeds provide immediate comfort from the moment you step in and extra padding at the back of the heel, collar, and tongue, combined with incredibly lightweight outsoles and breathable knit uppers, ensure your foot is completely wrapped in comfort.

I did find it a little difficult to just “slip” my foot into the shoes the first few times I put them on. But after wearing them a few times they began to easily slip on and off. My feet truly do not get tired in these knit slip on sneakers, even after wearing them for 12 hours. But don’t just take my word for it. This shoe has received the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance promoting good foot health.

I love wearing sneakers with absolutely anything in my closet (well, maybe not my evening dresses!). And these oatmeal colored knit slip on sneakers will keep me feeling stylish with every pairing. I don’t worry about getting them dirty because they’re washable in my washing machine. Simply take out the removable BlissFoam Tech™ footbeds before tossing them in the machine on gentle cycle and then let them air dry.
Pro Tip: Choose a sneaker with a minimalist vibe and in a neutral that is close to your skin tone for the most cohesive, seamless look. This styling choice will help you to look just as stylish in your sneakers as you feel comfortable!

Busy women need comfortable shoes for everyday living. But here at Dressed for My Day we know that even fashionable women don’t have to sacrifice style or comfort when getting dressed for our full, busy days.

Blessed for My Day
Want to know how to please God? It’s simple…and yet, not. Like a daddy who loves it when his child trustingly puts her hand in his to cross the street, God is pleased when we put our faith in Him.
Sometimes I easily put my hand in God’s. For instance, when I stand at a new intersection and I’m not familiar with my surroundings, I don’t hesitate to let Him lead. But sometimes when I approach familiar crossways I’m prone to run ahead on my own, sure that I can handle things with my Father’s help. Big mistake, my friend. I’m trying to remember that I can trust God at the busy intersections in life as well as on the familiar path. That kind of trust pleases Him and He rewards it, too.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. ~ Hebrews 11:6
Cute casual outfits to wear for time with the grandkids, but I have and will also wear casual loafers and sandals when I am spending the day with them. According to the event with them. You were right the other day. Other shoes besides tennis shoes can be worn for these times with our grandkids. Have a great day.
What is the cute navy & white (striped top) dress you
are wearing?
It’s this one: https://go.shopmy.us/p-17233301 But here’s another https://go.shopmy.us/p-17403827 and another option https://rstyle.me/+uXgtp3c9Il612uVikdDiWw and one more https://go.shopmy.us/p-17403987 These mixed media dresses are very on trend right now, and everywhere. So you can probably find others at good prices, too.
Thanks for the post with tennis shoes. Those of us with bad feet so appreciate it.
Hi Kay, can you give us info also on that cute white top you’re wearing? I love the look with your white shorts.
I’m wearing this jacket with a white tank underneath: https://rstyle.me/+M43IMtELeZrzsIk3tV1Mqg
Keds have come a long way with their different styles. I don’t wear sneakers in the spring and summer. I have to give my feet a break from closed toe shoes so I don’t get a corn on one of my toes. I only wear them for working out or if I was to go hiking. It’s mostly sandals till October for me.
Yes, these are what we really wear most of the time – not just us “older” women, but the whole world – at the downtown Philadelphia train station last week I did a little people watching, and only saw one woman in heels – almost every man and woman there, no matter the age, was wearing some form of sneaker or comfort shoe/sandal meant for walking.
I’ve worn Keds in the past, so it’s nice to know they offer sneakers with more support!
Kay,
You look fabulous in both outfits! I like the jacket and shorts combo and the navy striped polo dress! Thank you for showing cute outfits for summer!
I ordered the Blisswalk Slip On sneakers in Oatmeal today and can’t wait until they arrive! They are such a great price and being machine washable is a big plus!
Great to hear. I do hope you enjoy them.
Hello Kay,
I watched your comfortable travel shoe video and ordered several pairs of shoes for an upcoming trip. When I saw this post, I was definitely interested. The price is already very good for the KEDS, and it is GREAT at an extra 30% off. Unfortunately, the code didn’t work. You mentioned it is supposed to be valid through the end of the month, so I thought I would let you know.
Thanks for all of the research.
Thanks for the heads up. It looks like you can use code INBLOOM right now for the same 30% off. That may be why mine is not working. But I have sent a message to my Keds contact, too.
Hi Michelle, Just an update. Keds has now changed my code to KAYBLISS30. I’ve changed it in the blog post, too. again, thanks for alerting me to this problem.
