Well hello July! Can you believe it? We’re moving right along through Summer 2025. Since I make a practice of looking through my analytics at the end of the month in an effort to serve you better, I enjoy sharing some of those findings with you here. So it’s time to run through a few of our favorite things from June, 2025. These are the top sellers here at Dressed for My Day and my YouTube channel in June, along with a few of my personal favorites from the month.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.
First let me explain where I get these analytics. These are the affiliate links that people clicked through the most here, on YouTube, in my LTK Shop, on Facebook and in Instagram, resulting in a purchase. I used to say that I didn’t really have any way of knowing if these exact items were purchased, but that has changed. A couple of the affiliate programs I work with actually report the purchased item instead of the one linked through. So my bet is these DFMD favorites are indeed pretty accurate. That said, I never know who purchased anything, so you can trust that your information is always private when you shop through my links. I know nothing about the purchasers at all.
Your Favorite Things 2025

We’ll run through the top sellers first and then I’ll share a few of my favorites. My assistant Lucy sets this post up for me, so as I type up this post I’m counting down with you from the number 10 most popular item to the number 1 top seller. Let’s go!
#10- 100% European Linen Short Sleeve Shirt
I know that Quince has become a popular shopping destination for many of my followers, especially on YouTube. So it doesn’t surprise me to find this 100% European linen short sleeve shirt in our top sellers for June.

I have this easy breezy shirt in white and black, as well as black and white gingham, and find that it works beautifully with so many things in my closet. You can tuck it or not, since it has a nice wide hem and is just the right length. It comes in other colors, too, and is available in sizes XS to 3X. And of course the price is always low at Quince, but the quality is high.
#9- Utility Linen Shirtdress
Fun! I love seeing this utility linen shirtdress show up in our top 10 list. This J.Crew dress is so fun to style for an elevated casual summer look.

The linen shirtdress comes in dusty fatigue (olive green) and natural, too. It runs true to size for a slightly oversized fit, and it’s available in XXS to 3X as well as petite and tall sizes. I love this dress and wear it frequently for a chic summer look.
#8- Everyday Linen Button Front Shirt
J.Jill linen shirts have long been among my favorites. This everyday linen button front shirt works beautifully buttoned up or left open over one of their reversible tanks.

The particular linen shirt shown above is actually a linen and cotton weave, but the others are 100% linen. They have them in a number of beautiful colors, and the linen shirt comes in sizes XM to 4X, as well as a wide range of petite and tall sizes.
#7- Linen Trimmed Tank
Here’s another J.Jill top seller! This cheerful red coral sleeveless linen top paired with the coordinating linen wide leg crops is one of my favorite summer finds. You really show up in this pretty red pairing, but it also feels minimalist and comfortable.

Both pieces come in a full range of sizes, as well as petite and tall offerings, but the XS seems to be sold out.
#6- Miller Sandal
I’ve had one pair of Tory Burch Miller sandals for about four years now and purchased these vintage vachetta ones this year. These thong style sandals were popular for several years before I took the plunge and they’re still going strong. Because they have a minimal profile, they have proven to be very versatile and I wear them frequently, making them a worthy investment for me.

I prefer purchasing shoes and bags directly from the brand when possible because I find the packaging and service is generally better. But these Tory Burch Miller sandals are also available at Nordstrom, where you always get free shipping and free returns. The other color I have and find to be very versatile for me is the light sand.
#5- Crinkle Weave Jacket
This crinkle weave jacket is such a sweet windbreaker for the summer. It’s perfect to carry on vacation because it works nicely with so many things. The slightly textured fabric makes the jacket look a little more elevated.

The jacket, along with everything else at Talbots, is currently 40% off. It comes in sizes XS to 3X.
#4- No Makeup Makeup
I’m so pleased to see the No Makeup Makeup foundation & brush duo in our top sellers. I wore it just yesterday as I traveled home from Georgia. I never thought I’d like a compact foundation like this, but it really works so nicely. And because it’s not a liquid, it travels beautifully.

You can use code KAY15 for 15% off the No Makeup Makeup foundation & brush duo as well as other items at their website. I love their premise: to wear less makeup so you show up more. As we age we really do need to wear less foundation, not more. Trust me, I have blotchy skin with very uneven coloring, so I like to fix that with my foundation. But I’ve learned that a sheer product is more flattering on aging skin than a heavy one. And you can build the coverage with this No Makeup Makeup foundation to your liking as well.
#3- Beaded Necklaces
Ahh, interesting. This particular beaded necklace set is on my personal list of favorites for the month, too. I purchased several when I was creating this YouTube video, and I’ve worn them all. But this set is the one I tend to wear the most.

Above I’m just wearing one of the necklaces in the set. I love that they are actually three different necklaces, so you can wear them together or apart. Adding just one seasonal necklace like this to your other usual favorites is a great way to update your look for summer.
#2- Thigh Society The Cooling 7″
Hooray for chafe-free, cooling slip shorts! I just don’t wear dresses or skirts with out these. I hope they’re making your dresses and skirts as comfortable for you as they do for me.

Thighsociety has several different types of shorts to choose from and they run in sizes from XS to 6X. I find them to run true to size for a very comfortable, non-binding fit. I prefer the cooling shorts in the 7″, but the options are numerous.
#1 Slub Knit Blazer
And our number 1 top seller is the slub knit blazer from Chico’s. Cool! Literally. This lightweight, casual jacket is a perfect completer piece for summer outfits. You can roll the sleeves up a bit and wear it over a tank top for the easiest, coolest layered look.

The white is selling out, as are a few other colors. But there are still options to choose from and it is more than 50% off in Chico’s semi annual sale. The jacket fits true to size.
Kay’s Favorite Things
Since I was traveling yesterday I took the easy route and just had Lucy whip up a shopping widget for a few of my favorite things from June 2025. Some of them are duplicates from the top sellers above. But I’d like to call out that L’Agence Sofia Knit Blazer that has become a fast favorite that will give me year round versatility. I’m wearing it in tomorrow’s YouTube video.
I haven’t shown my new Java brown Brochu Walker Havana dress yet, but I wore it Sunday and LOVE it. This popular dress comes in myriad colors and is truly the perfect travel dress. Handling my granddaughter Sunday I got a little something on it and it literally just brushed off of this beautiful 65% polyester/35% cotton fabric. I was skeptical, but this tiered dress was definitely worth the investment. They’ve been around for years and I don’t think they’ll go out of favor anytime soon. If you’re petite you might prefer the shorter version. Both look pretty with this belt or without.
I have taken photos with the denim skirt and the jeans shown below for upcoming blog posts. The skirt is proving to be so versatile and a fast favorite. The jeans are a nice straight leg with lots of stretch in a perfect light wash for summer. They’re supposed to be an ankle jean, but I actually had to have them hemmed to achieve that length. I sized up to a 31 in those. Unfortunately they’re not on sale, but Frame does have a lot on sale worth checking out. And just through Friday you’ll get an extra 30% off those markdowns.
I think I’ve shown most everything else below in my favorites either here or on the YouTube channel. But if you have questions about anything, just let me know.
Thanks so much for stopping in to see what was hot, hot, hot at DFMD in June. I’d love to hear about your purchase if you shopped any of these or other items at Dressed for My Day this past month. I only recommend things I truly love, but I know we all have different experiences with purchases, too. Have a blessed and beautiful day!

What do you do when you suddenly find yourself in a disagreement with someone? You’re just chatting over things, maybe talking about a current event or topic. Then suddenly you find yourselves on opposite sides of the situation. Do you hunker down for the fight? Or do you steer clear of the disagreement and move on to more pleasant topics?
Sure, there are times when we need to have a calm and informed discussion about differences of opinion. But the Bible warns us against the folly of stirring up quarrels and encourages us to avoid strife. Let’s choose to be women who look for the common ground, listen to other people’s opinions without formulating an argument and avoid arguing just for agrument’s sake.
It is honorable to avoid strife, but every fool is quarrelsome. ~ Proverbs 20:3
I would love if you did another post with outfits for your mother as she is the same age as my mother. I purchased the Talbots outfits for my mother that you once featured for yours, and they are some of her most stylish summer outfits. She fit right in when we took her to the Connecticut coast for her 90th birthday in May.
Hi Kay, I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to Quince. I ended up purchasing their silk midi skirt and I LOVE it! So much so that I got it in another color I like. It really is such an elevated basic, that when I wore it with the simplest top, I still looked extremely put together. And the price just couldn’t be beat! Love your BFMD, and boy howdy, do I ever try to diffuse things if I can sense someone is stirring the pot. Or I run for the hills if they just won’t give it a rest. I do not like quarrelsome people.
Thank you for letting us know about the sale of the Elemis moisturizer at QVC. I love the product and was getting low so took advantage of the sale and ordered..
I ordered the Spun knit blazer from Chicos and loved it!
The JCrew necklace is sold out. I have a similar one from JCrew factory. It’s only the single strand beaded one. It’s such a nice summer necklace. I try not to get into arguments by avoiding certain topics.
Hmm. The necklace set is still popping up when I click through. Maybe they restocked?
