Footwear
Ally Shoes are probably my absolute favorite shoes for pumps, boots, booties and elevated flats that are also comfortable enough to wear all day. But right now I’m practically living in these booties and I take every chance I can to wear these tall boots.
Margaux – Get 20% off sitewide. I recently got in their leather Downtown Boots and they are exquisite. They fit true to their size guide. If you’re between sizes (you’ll see what I mean on the size guide) I recommend going up. They do come in narrow and wide, too, but those sizes are selling out fast, as usual. I also have these flats in the dune and black cap toe, and they’re classic and lovely. I’d size down as recommended on the website.

Amazon has started their Black Friday Week. I could have dropped this listing into any of our categories, of course. But I tend to purchase mostly home supplies and electronics at Amazon, and that’s largely what I’ve collected in the shopping widget below. These are some of my favorite deals, with savings up to 40%. I do have a wide range of products, including beauty, electronics and kitchen tools.
Caraway Cookware is offering 25% off sitewide. This non-toxic cookware set makes a great gift! They gifted me this set not too long ago and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve since order (and paid for myself) this minis duo, this bakeware set, this storage set and this utensil set. Everything in my kitchen was still from 1988 and I decided it was time for a complete overhaul (before we retire in a few years!). Since I ordered so much I got 25% off and a FREE bar set.

As we draw close to Thanksgiving, it’s smart to prepare our hearts for this season of gratitude. It’s always a good idea to end our days with thanking God for several blessings we have experienced during the day. That reminds us that God was present and walking us through each moment of the day. It keeps us aware that every good and perfect gift we received that day was, indeed, from the Father of Light.
But at this time of year I like to get even more intentional about expressing my gratitude to God and to other people. It’s a good day to think about what that may look like for you. Do you need to start a running journal of thanks? Or maybe it would be a good day to pen a thank you note to the Lord. Also you might like to purchase some cards and send notes of appreciation to some people in your life.

I shop the Black Friday Macy’s sale every year for cashmere. Been adding cashmere sweaters yearly. This year I purchased a burgundy turtleneck one and a crew neck rust colored one. My collection is growing! I love that they’re not heavy. Perfect weight for me. I usually wear with a thin base layer underneath so rarely wash them and they last a long time looking new. Have them in all “my” neutral colors with a few pops (a fushia and a turquoise).
