If you want to look stylish and modern, but you also don’t want to show up looking just like everyone else, it’s smart to shop a few of the more boutique-like retailers. One of my favorite sources for uniquely stylish options for the modern woman is Spartina 449. Their fashions and accessories reflect their roots of the South Carolina coastline, but they’re also feminine, colorful and beautifully constructed. I’m excited to share with you my new favorites from Spartina 449, and today you can get up to 30% off sitewide.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.
When I take photos for an upcoming blog post, I never know if the items will still be available much less discounted by the time I share the post. But today everything has lined up beautifully. Both of the tops I’m showing are fully available in sizes XXS to XXL, and Spartina 449 is having a Buy More, Save More event with up to 30% off. Just through Sunday, November 2, you’ll get 20% off your purchase of $200+ or 30% off your purchase of $350+. And at Spartina 449 you always get FREE shipping on orders over $150. I’ve collected more of my new favorites from Spartina 449 in a shopping boutique below the post, and I’ve included some great gift ideas, too.
Unique and Beautiful Tops from Spartina 449
Recently I got in two new unique and beautiful tops from Spartina 449. They’re both lightweight enough to work beautifully (on a chilly day) for my readers in the South, but substantial enough to layer with other garments for my followers who live in cooler climates. Win, win!

The Raquelle Etta floral pink sweater is silky soft on the skin and features a mock neck and a multi-rib texture design. It has a delightful shimmer woven into the stretchy fabric, but it’s subtle and sophisticated, not flashy.

The Etta print is modern, moody and beautifully suitable for fall, winter and spring. This rosy pink sweater will pair beautifully with brown, black, blue denim, ecru and more rosy pink. I think the sweater would look gorgeous worn over this Merino wool skirt in pink raspberry. But you could duplicate the look I’ve created with these kick flare jeans in metallic champagne.

I’ve worn this sweater (and the next top, too) with my new wide-leg jeans from L’Agence and accessories from Michael Kors. I’ve linked everything in the captions below the photos. The wide-leg jeans fit true to size. Mine are a little big on me, but I sized up. So I suggest going with your usual size if you’d like a slimmer fit. The suede boots fit beautifully true to size, and go on and off without a zipper so easily. I love the lower heel and the trending pointy toe and Western vibe. The suede purse, also from Michael Kors, has become a fast favorite. It has nice dividers and pockets inside. And I like that these two accessories are the exact same color, husk.

This Nora half zip top in Etta damask ink is substantial, but not heavy at all – the perfect layering piece that also shows up beautifully on its own. Made from 95% Peruvian cotton and 5% Spandex, it fits perfectly true to size and feels beautiful on the body.

Again this inky blue/black half zip top pairs beautifully with so many things in your closet, including blue denim, black, grey or ecru jeans. Wear it alone or under a topper like this Pippa cardigan (in either color).

But this beautifully fitted top is also available in a wide assortment of other colors and patterns. Likewise you can get this same print in this dress and these pants. So many beautiful options!

Again, I’ve paired the half zip top with my L’Agence Scottie wide-leg jeans in biscuit and my Michael Kors husk suede boots. But this time I carried the Madewell suede shopper tote in the color dark carob. That’s another great bag, and at Madewell they’re also having a Buy More Save More event with 25% off a purchase of $175+ and 30% off $250+. You’ll need to use the code TREATYOURSELF at checkout to see the savings.

Blessed for My Day
As passionate as I am about helping women get dressed for their day so they can step out in confidence, I’m even more interested in encouraging women to invest in the inner woman so that they can live in a way that is pleasing to God and beneficial to our world. You and I both have met women who presented an exquisite “package,” but once we got to know them, after even just a few minutes of conversation, we realized that they weren’t who we first thought they were. Actions may speak louder than words, but words set the record straight after initial impressions are made based on appearance. George Crane said, “Language is the apparel in which your thoughts parade before the public.”
I have a plan for getting dressed for my day on a regular basis. I invest in a good wardrobe that mixes and matches easily. I organize my closet so I can quickly and creatively put together outfits. And I’ve learned some style hacks and formulas to make getting dressed easy and fun. But I also have a plan for keeping my words uplifting, godly, wise and truth-based. I spend time reading the Bible each morning, working my way through it each year from cover to cover. I pray and ask the Lord to help me guard my mouth. And I meditate on and memorize Scripture. Do you have a plan for “dressing your words” appropriately each day? I’ve learned that if I don’t have a plan and put it into practice, my thoughts can turn ugly and my words soon follow.
But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. ~ 2 Timothy 2:23-26
Two very nice tops from a store that I’ve not explored. But, I’m driving south to California as I read this blog post, so maybe I’ll have a chance to check into one.
They are all lovely pieces, and yes, very different – I particularly like the Nora half-zip top as it has the familiar sporty shape and style with a very interesting fabric instead of the usual sweatshirt-type fabrics or wool, not that they aren’t just fine, but this is unusual.
Good advice. I memorized Psalm 19:14 this week. I always love your devotional message.
