Happy Memorial Day! I do hope you get to enjoy some relaxing time with friends and/or family today. And I hope we all have a nice unofficial kick-off to summer. But we definitely want to pause at some point today and remember those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. I am so grateful to live in this country and to have enjoyed those hard-fought freedoms.
In the event that you also may want to take advantage of some of the tremendous sale offerings today, I’ve rounded up my 10 favorite MDW sale finds. We created an exhaustive MDW Shopping Headquarters for you HERE. But today I’m just highlighting the ones I love the most.
This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links.
I noticed that my Westerly jacket is seriously marked down. But to top it off, you get an extra 30% off at checkout, making this truly great jacket less than $50. It was originally priced at $149. That’s pretty amazing savings. It’s also available in a deep ocean teal, which is also on sale, and black (full price).
Athleta has markdowns up to 60% off and they’re offering an extra 30% off those sale items. I also love their retreat linen pants, the advantage polo tank, the momentum seamless tee and the momentum seamless polo.
I did a little shopping at Talbots on Thursday and got some great deals. I’ll tell you more about that shopping trip on Friday. But I don’t want you to miss their Our Destination Summer Event with 30% off sitewide and 40% off one item (highest priced in your cart) with code SUMMER.
I’m leaning into my Colleen Rothschild skincare more and more. I think I may stop using the other products I’ve used in the past and just focus on these. If you’d like to try out my new favorite skincare, now is a great time. You’ll save more the more you buy.
Use code MDW25 to save $25 on your $100+ purchase or code MDW50 to save $50 when you spend $200 or more. I suggest you start with the Discovery Collection, shown below, if you’re just trying this luxe skincare out. It’s a $150 value priced at $95. Of course that won’t get you to the $100 threshold for additional savings, but you might consider some of my favorites shown above, too.
Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale
I was so surprised to see my Tory Burch Miller Cloud Sandals marked down 30% right now at Nordstrom. I was gifted these fun metallic sandals last summer, and I don’t think they ever went on sale last year. This year they’re nowhere to be found on the Tory Burch website, but Nordstrom seems to have them pretty well stocked in most sizes. So this is the time to jump on them. I LOVE them and wear them so often. Very comfortable and still so on trend.
Of course Nordstrom has a lot of great deals in their Half-Yearly Sale (not to be confused with the upcoming Nordstrom Anniversary Sale). Many of them are wear now essentials and you’ll also see a lot of price matching with brands that are offering good deals at their own websites. Some of my picks at a quick glance include this Open Edit unstructured black blazer (I have it in ivory and love it!), these Caslon linen blend wide leg pants and these P448 John Sneakers in peony (so cool!)
I’ve noticed that linen is selling out at J.Jill. And in my experience they will probably not restock most of these items once they’re gone. But J.Jill is definitely one of my favorite sources for high quality, soft linen at a good price. And today all it’s all 30% off.
I absolutely love my white linen relaxed crops. They come in other colors, too, and right now I’m wondering why I didn’t order the black/white ones, too. I may have to fix that! I also love my button-up shirts from J.Jill. My blue one is from last year, but they have a lovely striped one this year. And my white one is a closet favorite. I happen to think J.Jill also has very lovely jewelry, very earthy and interesting. It’s also 30% off. But both deals end tonight.
You’ll get an extra 15% off on top of the 40% off sitewide offer with code SUMMER at Ann Taylor. They have some beautiful new arrivals that are included in this offer. And my plaid Greenwich blazer and coordinating Lana slim pant are part of this offer, too.
Ann Taylor offers 40% off pretty often. But this extra 15% off makes this a deal worth grabbing. Check out their new arrivals HERE.
And did you see my bonus video on YouTube this weekend? I shared some great lipstick application tips!
I’ve noticed that Banana Republic is not offering sales as often as they once did. They’ve also elevated their styles a bit. It took me a while to get on board, but now I’m loving what I’m seeing. And this weekend they’ve been offering a rare 30% off sitewide.
Even better, if you have a Gap Inc. family credit card and use it (Gap, Old Navy, Athleta or Banana Republic), you’ll get 40% off your purchase instead. Without the card use code BRSUMMER for 30% off, with it use code BRCARDPERK for 40% off. The Sedona linen dress above is one I’m loving. I’ll be sharing it in an upcoming blog post, but I didn’t want you to miss your opportunity to snag it and other beautiful linen items at these savings. The wide point collar dress comes in white and buffalo brown, too. It fits like a dream, TTS.
You know how much I love my Ally Shoes! And I was surprised to see that they’re having a Semi-Annual Sale. I don’t recall them ever having this sale before, but maybe I just haven’t been paying attention. You’ll get 15% off sitewide on in-stock shoes. Ally makes a lot of their shoes to order (which I love!), but if they have your size in stock (and they have a lot in stock!), it’s 15% off.
I honestly love all of my Ally shoes. They are hands down my favorite for delivering a mixture of quality, comfort and great classic style. You normally get $40 off Ally heels with my code KAYHEELS, 10% off your first pair of flats with my code KAYFLATS or $50 off your first pair of boots with code KAYBOOTS.
But this 15% off is BETTER than any of those codes. Ooh! And if you know someone getting married, tell them Abby said these lace pumps were amazingly comfortable all day.
I shared some great Eddie Bauer hiking separates this past week in this blog post. And I’m still a little in shock that they’re all 50% off at Kohl’s. Of course they’re also 50% off at Eddie Bauer, so I imagine Kohl’s is simply price-matching them. But the big difference is that you’ll earn Kohl’s cash today on your purchase at Kohl’s…and you can turn around and spend it tomorrow!

Blessed for My Day
As grateful as I am to be an American, I am forever more glad to be a part of the family of God. I know that our God is sovereign and rules over the nations. And in a day when things seem somewhat divided and degenerating in our land, I am thankful that He still reigns.
So yes, today we give thanks for those who died for our freedom. But we also praise the Lord for the great things He has done. He has truly been gracious to our country. I do not know how long that grace will continue to extend. But I am very thankful that He has shown us such favor in our limited history. Praise the Lord.
I will praise You, Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. ~ Psalm 57:9
