It’s that time again! New arrivals have popped up like daffodils and tulips at Talbots. I stopped into one of our local stores Friday to try on a few things while the associates were pulling them out of boxes. And I even came with a few to share with you. I’ve perused the catalog carefully and looked at the various color ways on the website, too. So today I’m sharing my favorite Talbots new arrivals for April 2024.

I purchased my white high waist relaxed jeans a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve already enjoyed wearing them a couple of times. But I’d been looking for a pretty silky, floral blouse to pair with them for a more elevated look. This smocked blouse from the Talbots new arrivals fit the bill!
This beautiful botanical print viscose fabric has such a lovely drape. It feels silky soft on the skin. The neckline features a feminine tie detail in the back. The blouse runs true to size and comes in misses and petite sizes.
Unfortunately my quilted tote is sold out in the rattan, but it’s still available in navy. And my slingback flats are selling out fast.
When I was looking through the Talbots new arrivals for April, I was so excited to see this short sleeve jean jacket. What a fun option for our readers who live in warmer climates!
I still need sleeves here in Ohio for now, but this summer this short sleeve jean jacket will be fun to wear with skirts and cropped or ankle jeans and pants. For now I’m showing it with my high waist relaxed jeans.
I’m just wearing a bold pink ribbed racerback tank under the short sleeve jean jacket. The tank also comes in additional colors, and the short sleeve jean jacket is available in white and a pretty yellow (if I wore yellow, I’d snap that one up pronto!). The jacket runs true to size; I’m wearing a medium.

How has God met your needs recently? Really put some thought into that. I find that God meets my needs in unexpected ways almost daily. He foresees my needs before I even know that I have them. And He often plans ways for me to have them met at no cost to me. Frequently He blesses me in ways that make me feel looked after and special, a little pampered even.
I encourage you to think of the unique ways that God has blessed you recently. Otherwise we are prone to take those things for granted or attribute them wrongly to someone else or ourselves. Rest assured, your Good Shepherd is watching out for you and meeting your every need…in ways beyond your imagination or resources.

I too bought the high waisted relaxed jeans in white and denim. You can see the front pockets in the white and they are way too long. I’m 5’9” and the covered my feet.
Huh. They’re not too long on me. You can see the front pockets, but that doesn’t bother me. We all have our things I guess. 😉
God has blessed me lately. Love the devotional. I love the short sleeve jean jacket. Perfect for Texas summer weather since I don’t like showing my upper arms anymore. I’m going to keep an eye on it for further sales. The crop jackets are cute too but I wish they were unlined.

I am wondering what is the version of the scripture reference? I like the phrase: “I lack nothing” It is easier for most people these days to understand, I think. Rather than “I shall not want” (meaning I want for nothing).
