Everyone Loves These Jeans for Fall!

Every once in a while I hear about a particular garment that seems to have everyone raving. And when I see one woman after another – all with different body types and heights – saying that they LOVE a certain pair of jeans, I take note. Why? Because jeans are so hard to shop for. But having a pair of great fitting, modern jeans in your wardrobe is a game changer. So yes, I purchased a pair and now I know why everyone loves these jeans for fall.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.

The jeans I see everyone loving for fall? The denim trouser jeans from J.Crew. These chambray blue wash jeans have just a touch of stretch for a really comfortable, wear-all-day fit. They feature a 11 7/8″ high rise, a 32″ inseam and a 23″ leg opening on their classic fit. The jeans also come in petite and tall sizes, but they’re running quite low in inventory in those. Keep in mind that I am 5’8″ and have to wear a at least a 2″ heel with my classic fit jeans. My mules have a 2 3/4″ heel. (They’re very comfortable and I wear them with these socks.)

These denim trouser jeans give you the modern silhouette that will keep your fall wardrobe stylish and current. But they’re also very comfortable and quite slimming. I find them to run true to size; I’m wearing a 30 very comfortably.

Best of all? They’re on a temporary markdown of 24% off today. Yay! These jeans also come in other rinses, such as this darker wash and black. And here’s a nice mid wash.

For more styling ideas and tips for wearing wide leg full length jeans, see this previous blog post, Styling Full Length Wide Leg Jeans for Early Fall. But my absolute favorite way to wear these fan favorite jeans is with a button-up shirt and a belt. Yesterday I wore these jeans with my Citizens of Humanity Kayla button-up shirt, but any slightly oversized button up shirt works nicely with this silhouette.

with a jacket

You can also add a jacket. I love a cropped length jacket with these high-rise, full length jeans. I purchased this Cinq à Sept faux leather jacket with my Nordy notes following the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s a treat! But I’ve rounded up a few other economical options in the shopping widget below.

You can also wear a longer length blazer with this silhouette of jeans, but I’d keep it close to the body, not especially over-sized. Really, these jeans are so easy and fun to style and wear.

I’ve seen petite, tall and average height women sport these J.Crew denim trouser jeans. And I’ve also seen them on women of all sizes. By the way, they come in sizes 23 to 37, so that’s a full range of sizes.

If you’re looking for a great pair of full length, wide leg jeans for fall and into winter, I can highly recommend these. Yes, they’re worthy of the buzz! Now you know why everyone loves these jeans.

I’ve rounded up all the items I showed as well as a few other options and price points in the shopping widget below. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks so much for stopping in today for a little style inspiration.

Blessed for My Day

Do you see the commands and instructions of the Bible as an unfair burden? Do they feel restrictive and uncomfortable to you? I can certainly understand that feeling. When I’m held at a higher level of accountability because I’m a Christ-follower, it can seem hard to bear at times. Forgiving people who offend you, going the extra mile, staying kind and considerate when others are being mean and uncaring? These are hard things to do.

But I try to remember that God instructs us to behave in a way that is not just for our benefit and for His glory, but also for the good of other people. The words we say, actions we take and values we hold affect other people. They can help them see the Lord or they can be a stumbling block. So when one of the biblical instructions rubs you wrong, think about the far-reaching implications your behavior and words have.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,  to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. ~ Titus 2:3-5

  1. You look adorable. So stylish. Love the bold red lip to go with it all and that jacket…..wow!!! Great purchase. The petite size I wear is sold out. I’ve been struggling to pull off this wide leg with my height of 5’3″. Wanted to try these.

  2. Love the devotional message. The whole outfit is so cute on you. The red jacket looks so beautiful on you with your hair. I bought the cheaper version at JCrew factory. They only have it in a dark wash. I noticed the factory runs out of stock quickly in petite sizes too. They do stock up eventually.

  3. The trouser jeans look fantastic on you! Not a silhouette I’ve had any success with, personally, but you are quite a bit taller than me. 🙂
