EVEREVE Summer Try-On Session

While I’m enjoying time with family in my native state of Georgia, I’m sneaking away occasionally for a quick try-on session at a nearby retailer. This is a great way for me to get photos while I’m away from my photographer/husband for the week, but it’s also an opportunity for me to share fit information with you so that you don’t have to go into the store if you don’t want to or can’t. The Low-Down on Try-On Sessions

Please keep in mind that these are photos taken on my phone in poor lighting. Also, I’ve been pulling clothes off and on in a tight space. So my hair is a mess, my makeup is melting and I look pretty kerplunked. Ha! So please just focus on the clothes and give a little grace to the lady with the phone in her hand trying to look decent in fitting room lighting. For reference, I’m 5’8″ and weigh about 160 pounds. I have even proportions and an hourglass shape. I usually wear a size misses 10 or 30 in jeans or mediums. I’m showing all garments in those sizes unless otherwise noted.

I did try a couple of pairs of shoes at EVEREVE, so I’ll tell you about those below. EVEREVE Summer Try-On Session June 2026

As is often the case, I found many other things I would have liked to have tried on at EVEREVE this week, but they didn’t have them in my size in the store. I’m all for supporting brick and mortar stores and even dropped several hundred dollars before leaving that day. But size availability as well as selection are just two of many reasons why I do most of my shopping online. To that end, I hope to provide you with helpful fit information and wearability takeaway so that you have the information you need to shop smart at EVEREVE.

First up I’m wearing the Paige Mason ankle jeans with a sweet 100% cotton smocked top. Paige is my favorite denim brand because they just tend to fit me nicely, but I generally prefer their styles in a high rise. These jeans have a 10.25″ front rise, so they’re a little low for my comfort. But they feel great and the straight leg silhouette is sheer perfection. Such a great jean for summer. I’m wearing my usual 31 (I size up generally in Paige from a 30 to a 31), but they felt a little roomy on me. That said, they didn’t have the 30 to compare. So if you waffle between two sizes I’d suggest you get the lower or even two sizes.

The cotton smocked shirt is a little too sweet for my personal taste, but it is a lovely, lightweight top for summer. It fits true to size. It’s also quite sheer, as you can probably see. So you might want to wear a lightweight cami underneath.

Above I’m wearing a lined flutter sleeve top in red and ivory. It has an elasticized bubble hem and an open V-neck with tucks along the neckline that give a little interest without complicating the aesthetic. It’s perfect for wearing with jeans, skirts or white pants and shorts. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a medium.

Above I’m in the Miranda dolman midi dress, a 85% rayon, 15% nylon woven creation that has a pretty drape and can be dressed up or down. Dresses are currently 20% off at EVEREVE. This one features a fitted, pleated waistline, smocked back detail and dolman sleeves. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a medium.

I’m wearing the dress with the Aimee heels from Sam Edelman, which I fell in love with during the try-on session. They’re quite comfortable and provide just the lift you need for a dress and longer pants. I think the color is pretty and the suede is on trend. The shoes fit true to size.

I’ve combined the Billie bomber jacket with the Paige Tatum wide leg jeans above. The jeans are typical of Paige denim for a beautiful silhouette and modern style. I sized up to a 31 in them, as usual, for a nice fit. The bomber jacket can also be worn over tees or tanks and fits true to size. Such a smart piece for elevated casual summer looks.

I’m seeing so many fun striped pants this summer, especially in these flowy, wide leg silhouettes. The Anya stripe pull-on pants are a beautiful example of how on trend and functional this trend can be. They fit true to size for a roomy, relaxed fit; I’m wearing a medium. I’m wearing them with the Sloane jersey muscle tank from Z Supply. This casual, comfy closet essential came home with me in this ecru, but it also comes in an orange shade and black. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a medium.

The black sleeveless shirt dress above is from The Shirt, a brand known for creating button-up shirts with high functionality and comfort. This one is no exception. It has multiple small hook and thread closures along the front that help prevent the pulling and gaping you sometimes get with similar dresses. I think it’s quite smart and could be dressed up or down. It runs true to size; I’m wearing a medium. And the dress is 20% off.

Above I’m wearing the Indy gauze top and the coordinating Rory maxi skirt, both from the brand Caydn. This combo creates a really pretty silhouette since the skirt has a flat front and the top has a bubble hem. They fit true to size and are made in a lightweight, beautiful gauzy cotton and rayon blend. These would be nice vacation pieces because you could get multiples uses out of each piece.

The black Arlene top by Velvet, shown above, is crafted from cotton fabric and features a button-front silhouette with short sleeves and a polished collared neckline. I purchased this one and it fits true to size. I imagine wearing it in multiple ways this summer and into fall. I’m wearing it with the wide leg linen pants from Cloth & Stone, a favorite brand of mine for ultra-soft, luxurious fabrics. They didn’t have the pants in my usual medium, so I’m wearing a large, which does indeed fit rather large on me. But these are really great pants and could be so versatile.

I’m wearing EVEREVE’S Cheyenne top in June print above. If you’re looking for simple but elevated summer shirts to wear with shorts, jeans and linen or cotton pants, this is a sweet one. It could be tucked or left out since the length is nice. It’s 100% cotton with a rayon lining and feels easy breezy on. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a medium. I kind of wish I’d purchased this one now.

Above see the Flora slub tee with flattering front ruching and a cropped length. This little tee would be great under a jacket, but it works alone, too. And it comes in a nice brown as well. I’m wearing the medium.

Here are another pair of striped pants. This time I’m wearing the Maker wide leg stripe pant by Sanctuary, another favorite brand. These are in blue aura and summer sand, but they also come in an olive green and chalk combo as well as a red and chalk duo. The pants run true to size for a roomy fit. I’m wearing a 30 comfortably. I paired the 100% cotton pants with the Evereve Rhodes sleeveless shirt in blue. I love that this button-front shirt features a privacy panel under the arm, but the point collar, gathered shoulders and cap sleeves also set this top apart. It runs true to size for a generous fit or consider sizing down. I’m wearing the medium.

I came home with both pieces shown above. I’m wearing the Everyday Muse collared tee from Sanctuary paired with the Sarah poplin maxi skirt from EVEREVE. Both pieces fit nicely true to size. And the skirt, while it does have a stretchy, smocked panel in the back, has the flat front that I mentioned in detail in yesterday’s YouTube video. The collared tee is a little sheer, but I feel comfortable in it with a flesh toned bra.

Ahh, another pair of striped pants, these in a linen blend. The Drew stripe wide leg pant feels like vacation in a pant! They feature an elasticized waistband with a drawstring. The stripes are dark blue and ivory. I’m wearing my usual medium, so I think they fit true to size. I’ve topped the pants with the Bella sleeveless top in navy. It has a banded crew neckline, back gathering and a slightly cropped fit. It’s also available in cream. I’m also wearing the Fedora sandal slide by Splendid. This ivory shade is so on trend this summer. these sandals are comfortable and smart, but do run a little large. I’d size down 1/2 size.

The harbor blue Roxanne dress from Rails above is 20% off for a limited time. It’s a pretty one to dress up for a wedding or other special occasion, but it can be worn casually, too. You would need to wear “a bra” like this one, which works splendidly if you are small like I am. But it seems like larger breasted women have good luck with them, too. Above I’m wearing the Go Fish tee (so fun!) with the Splendid Mara poplin pants. Unfortunately they didn’t have a medium for me to try, so these are the large. I’d say these run true to size because the medium would undoubtedly be a better fit for me. This is a fun and on trend look for a casual day.

The Sharon linen dress above is actually a beautiful cotton and linen blend. It has a removable slip underneath and buttons top to bottom. I love the pleats at the waist that give this feminine dress such a lovely silhouette. It fits true to size and is super cool and flattering. The dress is currently 20% off for a limited time.
