At the first of each month I like to look back at what really resonated during the previous month with my blog readers and YouTube viewers. That way I can make sure I continue to show you more of what you love. I also like to take this opportunity to share with you a few of my personal favorites. I share a lot of items here, but these are just a few of the ones that I’m most excited about. Let’s check out a few of our favorite things from February, 2025.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. A Few of Your Favorite February 2025
Each month I have my assistant Lucy run the analytics to discover the top sellers at DFMD for the previous 30 – or 28, in this case – days. When I sit down to write this blog post I’m seeing for the first time what most resonated with my followers. I’m sharing the top 9 sellers from Dressed for My Day in reverse order, from #9 to #1. Let’s go!

To shop the top sellers just click on the shoppable links in the captions of the photos. I have been having trouble with my comment feed, so if you have a question you can try leaving a comment, but if it doesn’t work just email me at admin@dressedformyday.com.
#9- Colleen Rothschild Quench & Shine Travel Hair Set
I love that the Colleen Rothschild travel hair care set is amongst our top sellers. I do indeed travel with this set. In fact, I have it with me right now in Arizona. And I use the full-size products when I am at home.

The set is very generous and will last you for a long trip. The products are meant to give you a silky shine.
#8- Quince Cashmere Tee
Cool! I’m actually wearing this Quince cashmere tee in the color oatmeal as I type up this post in Arizona. It’s soft and lightweight, perfect for spring.

I did size up to a large for a more generous fit, but for a slimmer fit get your usual size. It comes in a wide assortment of colors, and of course the price is great.
#7- Oversized Crewneck Sweatshirt
Sweet! Here’s another top I brought with me to Tucson. I’ve been wearing this oversized crewneck sweatshirt in the mornings over my pajamas. But I’ve washed it and plan to wear it out some, too, as it’s getting a little cooler for the rest of our stay.

I purchased this same sweatshirt last year in a soft blue and wore it so much. I still have it, but I found this soft yellow irresistible. It is very generously sized, but I have my true size medium. For a slimmer fit you might consider getting a smaller size.
#6- High Rise Track Stripe Wide Leg Pant
I wore these high rise track pants for my travel day. I also have them in navy, but I thought the green would look cheerful and springy with my navy striped tee and denim jacket.

This style of athleisure pant is very on trend right now, and I love them. They come in a variety of colors, including a black with the side stripe, too.
#5- Ribbed Raglan Sweater Dress
I do love this ribbed raglan sweater dress. And since it’s lightweight, I’ll probably be wearing it through the spring.

The dress runs true to size for a pretty fit.
#4- Land’s End Long Sleeve Hooded Popover
I purchased this Lands’ End long sleeve hooded popover to wear with these track pants (here they are in navy). It’s a lightweight slub cotton, so perfect to wear through the spring.

The top runs true to size and comes in a nice stripe as well.
#3- Fringe Wool Wrap
The fringe wool wrap is a nice travel piece. You can wear it as a scarf or wrap. And as you travel you can use it on your lap or shoulders to keep off a draft.

They no longer have it in my navy, but it comes in a beautiful navy dusk and black.
#2- Tretorn Sneakers
I’m so glad to see these Tretorn sneakers in our list of reader favorites. I planned to bring these on my trip, but switched at the last minute to my Me+Em sneakers. But I appreciate that these Tretorns have a little bit of navy trim.

The sneakers fit true to size, but are a little on the narrow side. So take that into consideration.
#1- Airknit Stretch Full Zip Blazer
Fun! The Airknit stretch blazer from Talbots is our top seller for February. This is such a great travel piece. In full disclosure I did send mine to a dear aunt because I wanted her to be able to wear it on an upcoming trip to Spain. (I have so many similar clothes and just felt like she would get more wear out of it.) She texted me just yesterday to say she had received it and loves it. She can’t wait to wear it over and over on her trip.

The blazer, which features a removable zip-up hoodie insert, runs true to size. I’m wearing a medium.
Kay’s Favorite Things

And now let’s turn our attention to a few of my favorite things from February. These are either items I purchased during last month or I enjoyed wearing at the time.
Tretorn Sneakers
I’d already turned this list in to my assistant before she run the analytics. So it’s common for me to have a few favorites that also show up in the reader favorites list.

Like I said above, these Tretorns run true to size, but are a little narrow. This low profile type of sneaker is the most on trend for 2025.
Ribbed Short Sleeve Polo
I included this ribbed short sleeve polo in our Spring 2025 Capsule Wardrobe. And I brought it with me to Arizona to wear and take pictures of. It is a close fitting polo, so I sized up to a large for a roomier fit.

Polos and other button up tops are so on trend for 2025. This one is an easy top to wear with so many things during the spring and summer.
Collared Button Up Lightweight Sweater
Speaking of polos and button up tops, I’m also enjoying this lightweight sweater from J.Crew. It is a merino wool blend, but that doesn’t mean it’s hot. I think it’s a really nice piece for transitioning into warmer months. And it’s one I can wear again frequently in the fall.

Again, I sized up to a large in this red sweater. It also come in ivory, black and a bright yellow.
Patricia Green Boat Shoes
Boat shoes are trending this year. And you will indeed see the traditional Sperry dock shoes everywhere. But having worn those so much in high school – I think it was – I wasn’t really on board for those. Instead I opted for the Patricia Green boat shoes, which are a driving moccasin style boat shoe.

These shoes are super soft and comfortable right out of the box. And they fit beautifully true to size.
Unstoppable High Rise Joggers
I continue to love my Athleta track pants, but I wanted some traditional “sweat pants,” too. So I got these Unstoppable high rise joggers in a similar green. I love the silhouette, the high rise waistband, the length (I’m wearing the regular length) and the weight of the cotton.

These are super comfortable joggers for around the house or running errands, if you like. I mostly wear them for working from home or doing household chores.
Veronica Beard Tabby Midi Dress
My final February favorite is one I haven’t actually worn out and about yet…but I sure am itching to. I purchased this pretty stretch cotton dress for my birthday. (It’s 97% cotton and 3% elastane for such a lovely, comfortable fit.) I opted for the black, but it does come in a soft khaki, too.

Veronica Beard frequently puts these beautiful gold buttons on their apparel, and I’m a huge fan. This dress fits true to size; I have it in a 10.
Thanks so much for dropping in today. I just hate it that our comments section is not functioning normally right now. Hopefully that will be fixed very soon. Trust me, I’m riding the website developers on this! I’m quite frustrated with them, but there’s nothing I can do but wait.
I hope you have a lovely day, sweet friend.

Blessed for My Day
Are you going through a trial? While you may wish for the day when this test is over, today is the day for you to shine. Granted, you may not feel shiny. You may feel worn out and bruised and uncertain and run over. But if you will walk in integrity and seek the Lord each moment of this day, then you will indeed emerge from this test shining like gold.
Sometimes all we can do is put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. You can trust that while you walk obediently to the Lord, He works all things together for your good and His glory. And He is working something beautiful in you, too.
But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. ~ Job 23:10-11
I really enjoyed this post. Nice to see some of the new things for 2025. Thanks
Really drawn to those sneakers!
I recently discovered Quince after reading about it in your post. I bought my daughter the cashmere T and the cashmere sweater for myself. We both love the look and feel of the sweater. I also bought their percale sheets. Amazing! Great price, too. Thanks for featuring new brands that are really worth trying out.
I loved the blazer with the removable hood. Unfortunately it went back to Talbots. It didn’t fit right. Too much material in the hooded part and the hood was very bulky.
Love the short sleeve cashmere sweater! Can it be washed-hand wash or machine?? Also, am encouraged by your scripture verses at the end of each blog!! And your very conservative looks.
Thanks so much!
I do hand wash mine and then lay flat to dry. I wash as rarely as possible.
Hi Kay, Not sure where to leave this question. I tried to ask two weeks back when the comment option wasn’t working. I am interested in purchasing the Talbot tapered barrel leg jeans, but my hip measurement is between a 6 and 8. I am pear shaped. Would you go up or down in these jeans? Love your content!!
I have tried them on and they fit true to size with very little to no stretch. I wore them in a 10 comfortably. They are roomy in the legs and thighs, but should fit snug in the hips. Hope that helps a little.
Bummer shampoo already sold out:-(
I may need a pair of those Tretorn sneakers! My granddaughter (7th grade) asked me for a similar pair in a diff brand as a Christmas present. Since we live in AZ, she has worn them almost constantly. I do love how they “go” with just about anything and I like that the darker color in these is navy instead of black.
Kay,
I love your style and appreciate bringing fashion ideas that are classic yet modern!
Kay, the February favorites are wonderful! Obviously you inspire many with your impeccable taste! Thank you for sharing.
The taupe/nude pointed toe heels really dress up the look of the wide leg jeans. I need to find some that fit and aren’t too high of a heel. I also like the looks created with striped t’s but white is too stark for me and the contrast too high either with black or navy so I am searching for something with ecru or light tan/sand and navy or black.
The yellow sweat shirt from J Crew is sold out in my size. I bought the blue one last year as well as a gray one. I wear them often.
Going to look for the yellow one to come back in stock.
Hope you had a great trip. Can’t wait to see your pictures.
I love Quince clothing and have several pieces. The yellow linen shirt will be my next purchase. I am definitely interested in several of these favorites!
Hi-this is a hair question. Do you have a good product to use for gray hair that is looking dull and needs some shine, without doing a color job??
I use this occasionally to brighten mine up. https://rstyle.me/+3XzE8Mlhy11i5WkC-CvihQ I don’t recommend using a purple shampoo all the time because your hair can eventually take on a purple tint. But I use it occasionally.
Love this BFMD…I know God uses trials for our good and His glory and this is lovely encouragement!
Also, those boat shoes are really cute and they don’t remind me of the ones I wore in the late ’80s!
Hello! I see several items I’m adding to my list. How does the Talbots air knit compare to the Spanx air essentials? If you could only purchase one, which would you choose? TIA
I like the Spanx Air Essentials more.
I really liked the bold colors in the favorite things. I’m a winter so I especially enjoy black and white, and navy and white combinations. Love the shoes too.
Love the striped polo! So cute.
