Happy weekend, sweet gal! I’m so glad you dropped in to start any weekend shopping you might be considering. Or maybe you just came to see what’s up. Today I’ll be sharing all the ins and outs you need to know for your weekend shopping. Let’s get started!
Today I’ll be sharing…

- Noteworthy Sales – all the sales worth checking out, plus I may include my top picks from any given sale occasionally
- What’s in My Cart – items I’ve purchased this week (keep in mind I don’t keep everything I order!)
- What’s on Sale – I may alert you to items I’ve shown here at Dressed for My Day that are now discounted

What DFMD readers are buying this week
These are the items my readers having been clicking through and then making purchases according to my analytics. While I have no way of knowing if these are actually the specific items you’re purchasing, these are at least the items you’re clicking through. Make sense?
These oh so comfy sandals have been selling like crazy this week. And they’re selling out, too. But last I checked these nubuck wedge sandals were still available in limited quantities in most sizes. They’re usually over $200, but available right now for 40% off. I’ll be wearing them again in a post next week, but this week I shared them here. They run true to size.
For the second week, these Nic+Zoe Wonderstretch Straight Leg Black Pants were top sellers. I’ve shared these so many times here at Dressed for My Day over the past two years. They are my go-to black trousers. They’re slimming, beautiful and well-made. You can see them over and over in multiple outfits in this post, 12 Ways to Style Black Pants. But best of all, they’re 40% off in regular sizes (not in petites, unfortunately). They’re also available at the same price in dark indigo blue.
I shared this striped ballet neck elbow sleeve tee in Monday’s post, and evidently a lot of you liked this simple, classic top. It runs true to size. Unfortunately it was almost sold out when I wrote this post, so fingers crossed!
This Marled Jersey Jumpsuit made the list for a second week, too. I showed it in yesterday’s How I Really Dressed for My Day post. There I was wearing a size small. In this previous post, I wore the same jumpsuit (in black) in a medium. I think the small fits better, so consider sizing down. I normally wear an 8, so a size down for me would be a small. But if you wear, say, a size 10 and size down one to an 8, you might still wear a medium. Make sense?
I featured this Talbots Charming Cardigan in Monday’s post (shown below), last week’s YouTube video and this past post on styling polka dots. But I’ve had Talbots Charming Cardigans in my closet for years and years. I’m wearing a medium in this pretty rosebud shade, but they come in 8 other colors, too. It’s 40% off.
Unfortunately the 1901 graphic t-shirt that many DFMD readers purchased is sold out. But I think the “Soak Up the Sun” shirt is just as cute and versatile. It will look great under a denim jacket, cardigan or blazer.
Actually, a lot of you purchased several different straw handbags from last week’s Straw Bags for Summer post. But this Packable Straw Tote Bag from Talbots was the most popular. I think it’s a great selection!
I shared these Relaxed Restyled Zipper Pockets Capri Pants in this post about perimenopause weight gain, but I also shared in yesterday’s post that I’ve been wearing them frequently. They wash up great, and one reader even reported back that hers did well in the dryer, too. I have these neat athleisure style pants in a size small.
Yep, here’s another frequently purchased handbag from my Straw Bags for Summer post. I do adore this Wicker Bag with the tortoise shell link chain. You can also use this bag as a clutch.
I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I’ve been wearing these Patch Pocket Cropped Chinos a good bit. Turns out they’re really comfortable. They’re available in other shades, too. The Patch Pocket Cropped Chinos run true to size, but keep in mind that they do have a true high waist (which I love). This weekend only, they’re 60% off.
I’ve really enjoyed my Modern Ankle Jeans and I hope those of you who have ordered them will, too. They run true to size or maybe a tad small. I wear an 8, whereas I wear a 6 in many Talbots jeans styles. These just don’t have as much stretch in them, but they’re extremely comfortable, featuring a high waist and a trending straight leg and cropped length.
And that’s it! Those are the top 11 sellers this past week at Dressed for My Day. Let me know if you have questions about any of these. I don’t own the handbags, nor have I seen them in person. But I own and enjoy everything else in this week’s list of top sellers.

What’s on Sale that I’ve Featured
These are items I’ve featured here on Dressed for My Day that I’ve discovered to be marked down significantly this weekend. Be sure to check back here each week for the most up-to-date markdowns on the items you’re watching. And if there’s a particular item I’ve featured that you’d like for me to watch for you, just let me know in the comments section of this post.
I featured this white Lace & Crepe Top in Wednesday’s video in the “wear all white” look. It’s available in limited sizes at this point, but also comes in other pretty colors. I have a size small.
They restocked this green 1901 T-Shirt Dress this week, but it sold out again quickly. However, as I’m writing this post, it’s still available in navy. I think they’ll restock again, so I’ll keep watching it.
Also, don’t forget I’ve already mentioned the Nic+Zoe Wonderstretch Straight Leg Black Pants above. These are my go-to black slacks and wear them frequently. They rarely go on this kind of sale.
Okay, I think that’s it for today. Happy shopping! And let me know if you have any questions. Have a lovely weekend.
xxox ~ Kay
