Hello dear friend. And Happy 4th! I don’t normally publish a weekend blog post, but I was seeing so many amazing sales in my inbox I just had to share. I certainly hope you do not receive all the emails I get from retailers. Because of my job I get literally hundreds every day. I kid you not. So I’ve culled the notices and I’m only sharing with you the ones I think you may be interested in and the ones with the best savings. Why? Because it’s a holiday weekend and no one has time for shopping sales that don’t really save. So check below for my list of the best 4th of July weekend sales.

Ann Taylor – You’ll receive 40% off your purchase PLUS an extra 15% off through July 4th with code FOURTH.
Anne Cole Swimwear – Use code CELEBRATE30 to get 30% off sitewide. That includes their beautiful, colorful suits as well as their stylish coverups.
Athleta – They’re having their Semi Annual Sale with up to 60% off. My Arrival Skirt, shown below, is included in the sale.
Ballard Design – It’s a great time for a home or patio refresh. You’ll get 20-40% off sitewide at Ballard.
Banana Republic – Get up to 50% off their sale items. And if you use a GAP family credit card (Banana Republic, Gap, Athleta or Old Navy) you’ll get an extra 25% off sale items with code BRCARDPERK. My favorite picks include this linen short sleeve shirt (just gorgeous!), these slim utility pants (so on trend!) and this linen oversized button-up shirt.
Bloomingdale’s – Take an extra 30% off select sale styles for savings up to 65%. They only have a couple of sizes, but my favorite metallic sandals from Tory Burch are available for the extra savings (shown below). And I love these Sam Edelman sandals, also eligible for the 30% off extra discount.
Chico’s – Get 25% off your full price purchase. I’ve noticed Chico’s is discounting their full price merchandise less frequently these days, so this is a good opportunity to grab any of the new arrivals you love. But you’ll also get $29 select tees and tanks, $39 select shorts and linen tees and $49 select capris and skorts.
Coach – Get 50% off on all sale styles. So many great bags and shoes at amazing prices.
Colleen Rothschild – One of my favorite skincare brands, they’re offering 20% off sitewide with code FIREWORKS. My favorites include their Face Oil No. 9 (I use it EVERY night and love the results), their Retinol Supreme Eye Serum (great results!) and their Radiant Cleansing Balm. Ooh! And I’ve been loving their Triple Defense Sunscreen lately and really liking it.
DSW – Get 25% off with code SUNNY25. Of course, exclusions apply. But you can get those savings on beloved brands like Naturalizer, Cole Haan, New Balance and many more.
Eddie Bauer – Get 50% off almost everything at Eddie Bauer this weekend. They have some great casual/travel/outdoor dresses. And I love them for hiking gear, too.
Eileen Fisher – Love Eileen Fisher, but not the price? Now is the time to shop! They’re giving 40% off all sale items and, yes, they do have wear now styles marked down. I love this lightweight cardigan to wear over dresses. And my pants below are included, but they only have limited sizes. (I’m wearing a medium for a loose fit)
Elemis – This is another favorite skincare brand. You’ll get 25% off sitewide with code JULY. Express – Get 30-50% off EVERYTHING. I especially like Express for their blazers and jackets, such as this beautiful boyfriend jacket in a linen blend.
Gap – Save up to 75% off markdowns and get 50% off select shorts, tees and swim.
J.Crew – Get 50% off select women’s summer-ready styles. And get an extra 60% off all sale styles with code FOURTH.
J.Crew Factory – Sale extended! 40-70% off their entire site. ONLINE ONLY use code CELEBRATE to get an extra 20% off purchases of $100+ or an extra 25% off purchases of $125+. I love this linen cotton blend blazer and these v-neck beach sweater tanks.
J.Jill – Get 30% off full price tops. That includes their slim fit reversible tanks and their tab-sleeve A-line button-up shirts (my favs!). I size down in most everything at J.Jill.
Johnny Was – They’re having a Friends & Family Sale with 25% off sitewide. Use code SUNSHINE. My silk kimono below is from a few years ago, but you’ll find similar offerings, such as this one.
Juniper Print Shop – You’ll get 25% off their entire library of artwork. This is where I got my lovely painting that is in our evening room. It arrived in such good shape. I’ve had problems twice with other well known home stores when their artwork arrived completely torn up. But my painting from Juniper is so beautifully framed and shipped.

Nordstrom – They have some great deals on wear-now favorites in the Sale pages. They have my Tory Burch gold sandals discounted with more in stock. Blessed for My Day
I think we all could agree that our country has problems. We are more divided than we’ve experienced in our lifetimes, and every way you look we see signs of weakening morals and hurting families. But this weekend and through Tuesday we pause to celebrate all that is good about our nation. While, like all other nations, our history is dotted with mistakes and our future sometimes seems questionable, we can admit that we enjoy many good blessings in the U.S.
So let’s count our blessings for a few days. And let’s acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above. And let’s ask for His grace and mercy as we muddle forward. We are not a perfect nation, but for many of us this is home…for now. So let’s continue to get dressed for our days and show up, making a difference and contributing positively while we still can.
