Are you escaping the snow and freezing temperatures for palm trees and white sand? You lucky thing! I’m trading in our Ohio winter weather for a week amidst the cacti and mountains of Arizona later this month. But even if you’re not getting away for a warm weather retreat, you’ll love these beautiful resort-worthy dresses. You can wear these lightweight, colorful frocks this spring and through the summer to give you those vacation vibes no matter where you are.

All of these dresses have been gifted to me. I’m so grateful for brands that generously provide beautiful options I can then share with you. I was under no obligation to share them in a blog post, but I’m so impressed with them I just had to share.
Ocean Blues from Jude Connally
First up I have three gorgeous blue dresses from reader-favorite Jude Connally. All three of these stunners are made in their signature Jude cloth, which doesn’t wrinkle and feels silky soft on the skin.

The cloth also has a lovely stretch, so it really fits a woman’s body and wears just beautifully as you move through your day. I’m wearing the longer length in the dress above. Some of their shorter dresses do come in an optional longer fit.

In each of the Jude Connally dresses I’m wearing my usual size medium, so they run true to size.

I really want you to see these dresses in motion, so I’m linking you to a video where you can see me move and walk in them, and you can shop the dresses there, too. I’m frequently asked which is my favorite that I would purchase if I could only have one. In this first set, I’d say the top Susanna dress is my pick. I always love that silhouette.
Introducing Beau & Ro
I’m so excited to introduce to you a new-to-me brand, Beau & Ro. This Charleston, South Carolina, brand was founded by Sara Rossi in 2013 as a leather bag company and has since grown into a full apparel brand with Sara producing all of her clothes at the fair trade factory she opened in India. I am SO impressed with the beautiful Elle maxi dress I ordered from them.

This is no ordinary shirtdress. The Elle is created in the most luxurious seersucker I’ve ever handled. The buttons are same-fabric covered and the button-holes are perfection. It is a long dress; remember, I’m 5’8″. But you could easily hem the dress to your desired length. See me wear it in motion and shop Beau & Ro here. I’m wearing a size medium very comfortably.
Sun Protection with Cabana Life
Here’s another new-to-me brand. I’ve heard about and admired Cabana Life clothing for years, but I’ve never tried any. So I was thrilled when they recently reached out and offered to send me a couple of their newest dresses. Plus, they wanted to give YOU a coupon code for 15% off! You can use code KAY15 for 15% off your entire purchase at Cabana Life.

My two dresses both feature their amazing SPF 50 fabrics. Their lightweight, flowy and so soft on the skin. They’re also wrinkle resistant, travel friendly and breathable. I wear a Large in the Cabana Life dresses, per their size charts.

You really need to see both of these resort-worthy dresses in motion to see how lovely they are. Watch me wear them and shop these and other selections from Cabana Life here. And don’t forget to use that code KAY15 at checkout.
Pretty in Pink from Jude Connally
And then I got two more dresses from Jude Connally. Wow! They are really turning out some stunners for your winter escape. These resort-worthy dresses are in vibrant pinks and orange.

Again, I’m wearing my usual size medium in these Jude Connally dresses. Here I’m hard pressed to name a favorite. I still love the Susanna above. But the Libby below is another one of my favorite silhouettes. And that gold detailing is just truly resort-worthy.

I complemented these dresses with my Julie Vos jewelry, which I enjoy wearing the most in summer. Below I’ve provided a little additional resort wear style inspiration with a shoppable style board.

Thanks so much for stopping in. I hope you enjoy checking out the dresses in the attached videos. I’m sending you to my LTK Shop and my ShopMy collection. Both of those are great headquarters to always find the items I show here and on YouTube and on Instagram quickly and efficiently.

Blessed for My Day
The heavens tell of the glory of God;
And their expanse declares the work of His hands. ~ Psalm 19:1
When we look into the heavens and even at nature around us, we see a reflection of God’s glory. In other words, we learn something about our Creator. The creation tells the story of the Creator.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. ~ Ephesians 2:10
Likewise, we were created to reflect our Creator. When we obey His Word and act and speak in a manner that reflects His character accurately, we bring glory to Him. We show others who He is.
But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves… ~ 2 Corinthians 4:7
We don’t have to do anything special or extraordinary to bring glory to God. We don’t have to be especially talented or beautiful or have our act completely together. We just have to let Him shine through…even in our hardest moments.
Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. ~ Matthew 5:16
And all the while we must remember not to try to hog the limelight. If we draw attention to ourselves, well, that’s that. But if we point to God with our behavior and words, then we serve a much higher purpose…the purpose for which we were created. And we give other people the opportunity to see who God is and how much He loves them, too.
