I love Athleta for their high quality fabrics and construction. Their clothes really are made to move and travel in. But I also love that I can recommend them with confidence to everyone because of their size inclusivity. They carry sizes XXS to 3X and also have tall and petite options.

My Elation Ultra High Rise Flare Pants, regularly $99, are just $59 for a limited time. They are super comfortable and have an unpinchable three-layer waistband. They’re constructed from Athleta’s Powervita™ fabric, which is buttery soft. Athleta’s leggings have different degrees of compression, so check the description of any you like. But these Elation leggings and flare pants have medium compression, which feels like a gentle hug. And yes, they’re a nice thickness.
My Ascent Seamless Top is constructed from a super soft and breathable 55% Nylon/42% RWS Wool/3% Spandex fabric, so it’s perfect for cool weather hikes and travel. It’s available in other colors, too, of course. I size up to a large in the leggings and pants I’m sharing today, but I’m wearing a medium in the two tops.
‘Tis the season to start layering, so I shopped for a sweatshirt to layer over my workout tops, too. My Seasoft crewneck sweatshirt is also specially priced today at just $49 (regularly $89). It’s silky soft and not too heavy, just right for layering over a tee or tank. I love how this smoky rose color works with my spiced cabernet Elation flare pants. But both pieces come in other colors, too.

Do you know your purpose in life? The Bible tells us clearly in several different scriptures that we were created to give God glory. Just like a quilt or apple pie or painting that you may have created reflects your talent and point of view, you were crafted by God to give the world a glimpse of His character and ways.
That’s really what that “churchy word” means. To glorify means to paint a correct picture or give an accurate estimate. So when we treat other people or respond to situations in a godly way, we are giving other people a glimpse of the face of God. It’s a big task, but you’re up to if you’ll yield to Him today. Allow Him to shine through you and you will serve a higher purpose.

Hi Kay and great post! I’m fortunate we have an Athleta close by and wandered in after my annual bra fitting this summer. I mention the fitting because as you have noted it’s so important and makes such a difference in size and fit. I took advantage of a sale and went back recently for a sale and purchased a few of the Seasoft tops and pants. Can’t wait for cooler weather in SE Texas to wear them!

Love this post and love Athleta. I just returned from a 2 week trip to South Africa and wore Athleta pants every day. They are light weight, comfortable and packable. I have found them to be my favorite travel pants.
Thanks for all your very helpful content. I just purchased some athleta which is the first time I have purchased in the category of athleisure wear. But I need help. How do I style these pieces? What setting do I wear them in? I come from a mindset that gym clothes are for the gym, workwear is for work and casual is for at home or more relaxed environments.
