Best Jackets in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

Jackets are outfit completers. Stock your fall wardrobe with a couple of great jackets and you’ll have outfits galore that look elevated and polished. You’ll find on trend leather jackets, blazers and more casual toppers in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year the Rails Collins cotton blend utility jacket caught my eye, as well as the Eileen Fisher collar front zip stretch organic cotton jacket for casual options. But if I didn’t already have a great suede jacket I would seriously be looking at the Vince suede barn jacket in dark thyme.

The jackets shown above are my five favorites…at this minute, lol! But that changes hourly. This is definitely one of the strongest categories in the sale and the one that could make the biggest impact on your fall looks. I’ve collected more of my favorites in the shopping widget below.

Best Handbags in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

Do you love a good handbag? This is a great time to pick up a stylish, high quality bag at an amazing price. This year we’re seeing strong showings from Veronica Beard, Madewell, AllSaints, Reiss, Dolce Vita and Rebecca Minkoff, all of which have been in the sale before.

But I especially like the Vince bags, which I don’t recall seeing in the sale before, as well as the Tory Burch, which have returned after taking a couple of sale years off (I’m pretty sure). I do have my favorite luggage in the sale in this shopping widget, too. Again, Away has beautiful, sturdy and lightweight suitcases with matching accessories available for a good price in the sale.

Best Jeans in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

This is a great time to pick up a pair of premium denim jeans. If you’ve ever worn premium denim, you know the difference. Brands such as Frame, Mother, Paige and AG get jeans right. And I’ve selected a few from the sale that I can highly recommend.

Two of the styles above – the Paige Anessa wide leg jeans and the Frame Le Sleek straight leg ankle jeans – come in regular fits and petites. In fact, you’ll find quite a few petite options in the sale, both in premium denim and more value priced brands. If you need a petite fit, I suggest you use the filters on the Nordstrom website to find those options. You’ll also find a large selection of plus sizes, too.

Yes, there is some good denim in the value priced brands, too. I suggest checking out Madewell and Kut from the Kloth for really great jeans at more moderate pricing. But during sales like this, I prefer to spend more of my budget on fewer items that are going to make a bigger impact on my wardrobe, like premium denim. I have collected my favorite picks in this category below.

Best Dresses in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

If you’re looking for a new dress for a special occasion, you may find some suitable options in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But I’ve also selected more casual and work-worthy dresses to recommend, too. In fact, this category is impressively and surprisingly stronger this year than it has been in the past.

You may notice from this category that we’re seeing a lot of navy in the sale for fall. I think that’s an exciting shift. Be you’ll also notice an abundance of brown and grey. I’ve collected more of my favorite dresses in the sale in the shopping widget below. But I’ve also included skirts, a smaller category but one worthy of notice.

Best Coats in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

I think I’ve purchased almost every coat in my closet during a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. In my estimation this is one of the very best times to purchase a winter coat. The selections are abundant and varied, and the prices are unbeatable, especially for pre-season. Yes, many of these coats will go on sale again at the end of the season, but you’ll get better cost per wear if you purchase now and enjoy all season long.

I doubt I’ll purchase a winter coat in this year’s sale simply because my closet is full of those I acquired during previous sales. But my favorites are the high quality, versatile and classic styles above. I especially love that the Nordstrom brand came through with an elegant, timeless leather option. Best Boots & Booties in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

To me there don’t seem to be as many boots and booties in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025 as there were in previous years. But the offerings that are available are definitely beautiful. We’re seeing a lot of suede, slim shafts that fit beautifully under straight and wide leg jeans, and colors such as chocolate brown, navy and even burgundy.

I have the Blondo bootie (in black leather), the Nordstrom light suede bootie and a very similar Vince bootie (in two colors) from last year and can personally and highly recommend all three. In I love the style of the Marc Fisher LTD boot, but I need a wide calf option. So I’m excited to see that there are several available, including the Vince suede boot above.

Best Women’s Shoes in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

They always have beautiful new shoes for fall in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year it looks to me like loafers are moving ahead of ballet flats in the trends. And I do love a classic loafer with some modern touches. Look for striking hardware and beautiful textures. But we’re also still seeing a plethora of Mary Janes.

I’m also very happy to see the return of the heeled mule. They’re going to work beautifully with the current jean silhouettes. I definitely have a pair or two on my Wish List.

Best Women’s Fashion Sneakers in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

One of the best ways to keep your casual looks modern is to update your sneakers occasionally. Trends have not changed that much from last year to this, but if it’s been a few years since you purchased sneakers it may be time for an update. You’ll find some cutting edge options in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 at a wide range of prices.

I’ve tried to only recommend sneakers in the shopping widget below that are equally stylish and comfortable.

Best Accessories in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

As you’re putting together your fall wardrobe don’t forget about accessories. Sure, it’s still early to get too consumed with a cool weather wardrobe. But the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has some options worth consideration. This year the scarf is the most trending accessory. You’ll find a lot of beautiful options in the sale. But since we’re wearing more high rise pants, it’s still very popular to tuck your shirt and add a belt. And a belt is a smart way to pull a look together and elevate it.

Best Sweaters in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

In the past sweaters have been one of the biggest categories in the sale. But It seems to me that there are fewer of them this year. However, I also think the styles are more attractive, more classic than in times past. It’s interesting to see the trends emerging in this category.

We’re continuing to see cardigans worn close to the body, but relaxed with an easy fit. And I anticipate that we will still be wearing them buttoned up as pullovers more than as open cardigans. Still you can find all sorts of options in the sale.

A couple of years ago I spent a good portion of my sale budget on a piece of fine jewelry, and I didn’t regret it one bit. I’ve enjoyed having that small diamond Bony Levy necklace to wear since then, and I know I’ll wear it forever.

I especially love the Lizzie Fortunato selections inthe sale this year. These are interesting, eye-catching pieces that truly add interest to your outfits. But you’ll also find beautiful everyday options, both in fine and fashion jewelry options. I have collected more of my favorite jewelry finds in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale below.

Best Beauty Exclusives in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

While you’ll find so many beautiful new fall fashions in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025, I think the beauty exclusives are well worth consideration. This is consistently one of the strongest categories in the sale. Annually I purchase Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, the Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash, the Necessaire Body Wash, the Lancome Definicils Mascara and a few other personal favorites.

Really, I think everything I’ve recommended from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives is a product I already use and love. I can highly recommend the DermaFlash set and T3 hair dryer, both of which I use weekly. And the Laura Mercier caviar stick eye shadows have become my fast favorites. In fact, these are the colors I use the most often. Oh, and of course I apply all of my makeup with the Angie Hot & Flashy brushes. And I’m so pleased to see my skincare (U Beauty) in the sale, too. Best Home Accessories in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026

In the past I’ve purchased some great Christmas gifts in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, usually among their home accessories. We sleep on Boll & Branch sheets and enjoy using the Our Place large Wonder Oven Pro. And I purchased the crystal wine glasses below in the sale last year and have thoroughly enjoyed them. So elegant!

I also have the Viking 9-piece mixing bowl set and enjoy it. Once again, most of everything in my favorites list from this category is something I either have or am very familiar with.

I focused on my wheelhouse here, which is women’s fashions and lifestyle. So I didn’t pull selections from menswear or kids. But they do indeed have great buys in both. In fact, I’m definitely purchasing my husband a few things and my daughter will be shopping for my granddaughter in the sale.
