Talbots’ new collection is full of tropical pinks, yellows and oranges as well blue and green hues from the ocean. It’s looking a lot like summer!

I’m a big fan of Talbots’ linen and I’ve been loving my black and white cotton blend Bristol pants, so I’ll be purchasing the Bristol pants in linen. They have them in lined white and in flax and indigo blue unlined. And while I keep most of my pants and shorts in neutrals and fairly classic, I think I’ll “splurge” on these charming floral 7″ shorts. Let me know if you add anything to your cart today. Do you ever doubt if you are going to heaven after you die? I want you to know that you absolutely can know for certain that you will spend eternity in heaven. We do not serve a God who is fickle or testy. He would take no pleasure in snatching our salvation away from us when we mess up. In fact, He is a gracious and faithful God. Our salvation through Jesus Christ was His idea and He initiated it. So He does not delight in making us worry about whether or not our eternity with Him is sealed.
On the contrary, the Bible tells us that we can know that once we have accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, we have a standing reservation in His heaven. Jesus Himself tells us that nothing and no one can take us from His hand. Sister, that means even you cannot somehow slip out of the nail-scarred hand of Jesus. He initiated your salvation, He paid for it, He completed the work and He has you. He has you. Let that soak in and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.
“And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” ~ John 10:28-30

I love your posts on our (and your) favorite retailers, Kay. So often I may have missed something that’s really special. I’ve already purchased several of your Talbots highlights! I got the last one in my size of the “groovy” sweater! I’m loving the “Tiger Lily” color so have ordered the Charming Cardigan, the Bateau Neck 3/4 length Tee (always a favorite), the Relaxed Chinos (another staple) and the pretty sandals with the center ring (made in Brazil). I always take advantage of their early season sale and love their online only Flash Sales, too!
