It’s Amazon Prime Day! Actually this annual sale at Amazon has been extended beyond just 24 hours. The sale kicked off at 12:01 a.m. PDT on June 23 and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. PDT on June 26. But the best deals do go fast, and they drop new Flash Sales as frequently as every five minutes. That said, there’s no need to get sucked into the hype. At Dressed for My Day, I encourage thoughtful and purposeful shopping rather than buying things just because they’re marked down. So I have curated my list of Amazon Prime Day 2026 Picks with wise shopping in mind. Many of the items on my list are ones I already own and love, so I can give you my highest recommendation. Then I do have a few items on the list that I do not own, but friends or family members have shared them with me.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.
NOTE: You do have to be an Amazon Prime Member to enjoy the savings shared here. I’m certainly not telling you to enroll if that’s not your desire. There are always other ways to save. But if you’ve been on the fence (as I was for years), let me share a few of the benefits of Amazon Prime membership.
- Free Delivery: Fast shipping on millions of items at Amazon.

- Prime Day: Access to the annual sale.

FASHION & ACCESSORIES
Honestly, I’ve never had great luck with purchasing a lot of clothes from Amazon. I know many women do. But every time I ordered (and I really tried!), I ended up returning most everything. So I just stopped. But I do occasionally purchase shoes or fashion accessories through Amazon with really good results. So I have just a few recommendations in this category. In each category I’m providing a shopping widget with my Amazon Prime Day 2026 picks. Just click on an item to discover the discount and shop. EVERYTHING in my shopping widgets is discounted significantly for the Amazon Prime Day Sale.
HOME & TRAVEL
I shop for home and travel items through Amazon frequently. Plus, many of my favorite brands have shown up big in this category this year. Specifically, I love my Caraway kitchen tools. Every Caraway products I’ve linked in the shopping widget below is one that I own and use weekly. I highly recommend these and they’re nicely discounted during the sale. I also have and use the Kitchenaid products, the Our Place oven and the Away luggage. Scroll through the shopping widget below to see all of my picks in this category.
ELECTRONICS
They frequently have really good buys in the category of electronics in the Prime Day deals. But I’m not always the person to make these recommendations. So my selections are few but personal. Several members of my family, including me, love our Kindles. I’ve included three different options in the shopping widget, along with covers. My parents have this Echo Show and enjoy using it.
FITNESS & HEALTH
Aren’t we all constantly trying to do the necessary things to improve our health and fitness? Amazon tends to be our primary source for the equipment and supplements we need for these purposes. I’ve included only items from brands I use and trust. I don’t own all of these items in my Amazon Prime 2026 picks for this category. But I’m familiar enough with the brands to recommend them heartily.
BEAUTY
Now this is a category I feel very confident about recommending products from. I do a lot of my beauty shopping through Amazon. I especially recommend the BK Beauty makeup brushes (I’ve only linked to ones I own and use), the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (a spa in a jar!), the Lancome mascara primer and Definicils mascara, the U Beauty skincare products (LOVE!) and the Necessaire body wash.
James’ Picks
Honestly, my husband does most of our Amazon shopping. So it only seemed best to get his input on this post. I asked for his top picks and he – as expected – gave me mostly items he uses in the yard and a few clothes and shoes he has recently ordered. In fact, he quickly cancelled an order he had placed just yesterday and re-ordered them today with the savings in the Amazon Prime Day deals.
ZAPPOS
Did you know that Zappos is affiliated with Amazon? Yep, when you have a Prime Membership you also get free shipping at Zappos and can use your account to place your order. And right now you can use code SAVEBIG20 and get an extra 20% off select items at Zappos. I’ve shared my currents favs that are eligible for the extra savings below. Be sure to use the code at checkout!
Prime Day on SHOPBOP
You’ll also get big savings at Shopbop right now if you link your Prime account to Shopbop, then use code PRIME25 for 25% off select styles. And Shopbop is more my speed than Amazon when it comes to shopping for clothes and shoes. So I’ve filled the shopping widget below with premium denim, wardrobe essentials, accessories and shoes that I can highly recommend. You MUST use the code PRIME25 and you MUST have your Amazon Prime account linked (it’s easy to do!) in order for these savings to show up in your cart.
Thanks so much for stopping in. Have a wonderful summer day!

Blessed for My Day
Waiting for God to answer our pleas for direction and wisdom or our requests for action is never easy. I know I get frustrated when He does not act quickly or speak to me clearly. But I’ve learned over the years that it is indeed worth it to wait for our God to move. And the wait doesn’t have to be inactive. Instead, while I wait, I can lean into Him, read His Word, memorizing Scripture and profess my trust in Him.
When I wait for the Lord rather than getting ahead of Him, I discover things about myself. I also usually see Him work in ways I had not anticipated. He does things so much better than I would. For one thing, while I’m waiting He often works in the minds and hearts of other people involved. He does what is best, not just what I want Him to do.
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. ~ Isaiah 40:31
