Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you have plans to do something a little different today. Whether you’re catching up on things around your home, baking something yummy, binge watching a favorite show on Netflix or getting out into the world, I hope you’re able to break up the tedium of the day-to-day and enjoy a little bit of fall. Today I’m sharing with you How I Really Dressed for My Day over the past couple of weeks.

How I Really Dressed for My Day

Coming up on Saturdays…

Like most of you, my day-to-day wardrobe really consists of a lot of repeats. So I’m not going to be posting these “what I really wore” posts every Saturday from here on out. But I thought maybe once a month would work nicely. Then I think I’m going to incorporate a few other more laid back post types into my Saturday line-up. For instance, next Saturday, for the first Saturday of the month, I think I’ll do a Coffee with Kay post. I’ll just share a little more of what’s going on in my life and heart in these once-a-month posts. Hopefully they’ll have a sweet conversational feel to them.

And then the next Saturday I’ll post a “Q&A w/K.” (See what I did there…with the title? He, he!) So that means I’ll need you gals to give me some Q’s so I can be getting the A’s ready! Anything is fair game. You can ask me fashion, beauty or fitness related questions. Or you can get more personal. Of course, I’ll use a little discretion in whether or not I select your question for public posting if it’s extremely personal. But I’ll do my best! I’m looking forward to hearing those questions. Just email them to me: kay(at)kayharms(dot)com. Or you can list them in the comments section below if you’d like. Let’r rip!

Alrighty. On to How I Really Dressed for My Day

Other than the Sunday outfits and what I wore Friday and Saturday, I really can’t remember where or why I wore each of these outfits. Hmm. But I know I wore them all! So, since this post is getting a little wordy as it is, I’m just going to give you the photo and the shopping information. But, hey gals, if you have any questions about sizing or fit, etc., please let me know in the comments and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Plus, don’t forget to check out the sales listed at the bottom of the post. Most of the items I’m showing you in these How I Really Dressed for My Day outfits are either marked down with sale codes or they are already low-price options. Here goes!

How I Really Dressed for My Day 00
Long Sleeve Wrap Top in Nostalgia Rose // Marled Knit Crop Pants // Gold layering necklace // Fossil crossbody (similar) // Grey snakeskin pumps

The pants and top in the above photo are both reduced 50% with code FALLCOLORS through Sunday.

How I Really Dressed for My Day
Cotton v-neck pocket tee // Ribbed shawl cocoon sweater in tan etherea heather // camo straight leg cargo pant (I’m wearing the tall 29) // brown suede driving moccasins (similar)

The camo pants above are 25% off with code BRRR. They’re listed as ankle pants, so it’s perfectly acceptable for them to be shorter. But I wanted mine a little longer and I’m 5’8″, so I ordered the Long after trying on the Regular fit and being dissatisfied. These pants fit wonderfully. Lots of nice stretch and a great thick fabric. For tips on how to wear them see my post 2 Ways to Style Camo. Plus, you’ll see me wear them again later in this post. I’m finding so many ways to style these versatile pants.

How I Really Dressed for My Day

So that’s what I’ve worn for the past two weeks, plus a few repeats. It was nice and cool here for a while, but today we’re supposed to be back up to 80 degrees. Ah fall!!

Blessed for My Day

Have you been struggling with a particular issue for a long time? I get it. I’ve been in a place before where I wondered if I would ever get victory, ever be able to move on and past, ever be fully healed, ever stop thinking about. I want to assure you that He who has begun a good work in you is able to complete it. We serve a God who finishes what He has started. But sometimes we need to take up the tools He has put at our disposal in order for that work to get done.

Are you applying the truths of Scripture to your dilemma, your struggle? Are you addressing the lies of the enemy head-on with the truths of God’s Word? Have you searched the Bible for the truth and begun to memorize it, meditate on it, believe it? I encourage you to ask God to do the heavy lifting required to get over this mountain. But I also encourage you to use the mighty Word of God to fight the good fight.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Spread the love
xoxo, Kay
