July 1, 2024

Happy first day of July! Can you believe we’ve turned another page on the calendar? But before we get too far along in this mid-summer month, let’s take a look at a few of our favorite things in June. These are the top sellers that blog readers, YouTube viewers and my LTK Shoppers have been snapping up. And I’m sharing a few of the things I’ve most enjoyed at the end of today’s post.

A Few of Our Favorite Things June 2024

A Few of Your Favorite Things in June 2024

This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links.

The top sellers are pulled from my analytics with LTK, primarily. I do work with a few independent affiliate programs and sometimes we see big interest in those, too. And all I really know from my analytics is the number of times people clicked through a link and it resulted in a purchase. But those purchases may have actually been of something else entirely. So this definitely is not a failproof analysis of the best sellers, but it’s all we’ve got! If nothing else, I know that interest was high for this items.

A Few Of Your Favorite Things

Ooh! Fun! I see some things I absolutely love in the graphic above, too. I always have my assistant Lucy pull these numbers and set up this post for me. So on this Sunday evening I’m seeing them for the first time. We’re counting down from the number twelve top seller to the number one, and I’m excited to see what they are.

European Linen Jacket

I don’t have this 100% European linen jacket, but I’m so glad that this Quince find has been popular. I think we listed it as a more affordable option to the similar J.McLaughlin jacket I showed in this recent blog post.

The two linen jackets look so similar, and I bet the Quince jacket is a good one. If you purchased one, please let us know how you like it.

Wild Orchid Linen Pants

I’ve certainly enjoyed wearing these wide leg linen pants in wild orchid. And I noticed they were marked way down for a while there. So many of my followers purchased them; it was pretty amazing.

We also shared three ways to wear these wide leg linen pants in this recent subscriber exclusive and LTK post. They’re so much more versatile than you might think. They do run large. I have the medium, but they’re quite roomy on me. The linen pants are still available in this beautiful color in almost all sizes, including petite, tall and plus sizes. They’re marked down and you get extra savings in the cart.

Relaxed Denim Jean Shorts

Last week I shared several pretty tops to wear with these Talbots relaxed denim shorts in this blog post. But the day before that they were marked down drastically, and I shared in my LTK Shop and on Instagram. That’s the day they starting flying!

I’m telling you, it really pays off to follow me in the LTK Shopping App. You can even get notices when items you “like” go on sale. And absolutely EVERYTHING I share here, on Youtube and on Instagram is in my LTK Shop, whereas you might miss some things you’d love if you only follow me here or on YouTube or on Instagram. Make sure you download that app and follow me here. It’s free, easy and safe…and fun!

Pleated Linen Shorts

I’m glad to see that many of my followers snagged these pleated linen shorts. They’re softly lined and so classic. You can dress them up or down.

The white pleated linen shorts are still available in most misses sizes, and you can get them now for 40% off.

Belt

I’ve been wearing and sharing this leather belt since early last fall, but I think it really struck a chord when I wore it with this Colette Wrap dress from Anthropologie. Unfortunately the dress is no longer available, but they have a jumpsuit just like it.

I also love wearing this leather belt with so many other things, however. I love it with my Veronica Beard skirt, but I even wear it with shorts and so many of my pants and jeans, too.

Cotton Gauze Shirtdress

You know I’m loving wearing purple lately. Evidently many of my readers and viewers are, too. It looks like you loved this cotton gauze shirtdress, also available in royal blue, persimmon and black.

Styling Wild Orchid Two Ways with J.Jill

The Cotton-Gauze One-Pocket Shirtdress runs large. I sized down to a small, as I often do at J.Jill.

Puckered Linen Sleeveless Shirt

Woohoo! Here’s another one of my favorites that followers are loving. The puckered organic linen sleeveless shirt from Eileen Fisher is iconic and so versatile.

The puckered organic linen sleeveless shirt does run large; I sized down to a small as I often do in Eileen fisher.

Linen Lantern Pants

Likewise, I’m a long fan of the organic linen lantern pants from Eileen Fisher. I have them in multiple colors, and I couldn’t pick a favorite. I probably wear at least one pair of them each week, if not more frequently.

I noticed the black, white and natural colors of these organic linen lantern pants are still full price, but that stunning flame color is marked way down and still available in most sizes. I’d snap them up!

Two-Way Tank

Well this is interesting. I showed this reversible tank quite a while back. And I actually purchased it myself last summer for my trip to Maine.

White Linen Pants

But the  reversible tank is truly a wardrobe staple for summer, and it can probably be worn for spring and fall, too. It runs true to size.

Endless Cargo Pant

Hahaha! I wore my endless cargo high rise joggers almost every day on my Alaska trip. I took two pair, but I wished I had brought a third pair. They’re super comfortable, perfect for travel and they accommodated my long johns, too.

The endless cargo high rise joggers run true to size, but if you are between sizes, go up.

Stripe Cotton Gauze Button-Up Shirt

I wore this gauze button-up shirt just this past Friday. It’s super comfortable and quite pretty. It comes in two other color combos, too.

I think it makes my denim shorts look a little more special. But I wore it Friday with my Frank & Eileen Wexford linen pants in cement.

Market Tote Bag

Yay for the top seller! I absolutely LOVE my J.Crew market tote. This is my third year to use this sturdy, classic essential, and I’m sure I’ll pull it out year after year for many to come.

Sandals & tote
woven straw market tote

It’s available with other strap colors, but I love the combination of cognac accessories to make an outfit look richer. So those are my readers’ and viewers’ top favorites. Good choices!

Now let me share with you a few of my favorites for the past month.

Kay's Favorite Things June 2024

These are the items I’m using and wearing on repeat.

Susanna Dress in Trellis Trio Aqua

I purchased three Jude Connally dresses last month and have absolutely loved all three. I’m wondering why I waited so long to try this iconic brand.

Brand Spotlight: Jude Connally Dresses
Susanna Dress in Trellis Trio Aqua // sandals // crossbody bag // earrings // necklace // bracelet // see original blog post here

I think the Susanna Dress looks especially smart. It’s perfect for lunch out or maybe a baby or wedding shower. I recently got this dress in the Moroccan Trellis Berry pattern, too. I’m wearing the longer length; the regular length is 3″ shorter. But remember, I’m 5’8″. You can use code KAY15 when you shop at Jude Connally for 15% off your purchase.

Tess Midi Dress in Twirling Peacock Spring Pink

I’m also really enjoying the Tess Midi Dress in Twirling Peacock Spring Pink. I’ve found all of these Jude Connally dresses to run true to size; I’m wearing a medium in all three.

The Tess Midi Dress comes in several other pretty colors and patterns for summer, too. Use code KAY15 for 15% off.

Libby Dress in Kaleidoscope Floral Iris

Finally, I’m really enjoying the Libby Dress, too. In fact, maybe this style is my favorite of the three.

Like I said, I’m wondering why I waited so long to try these out. I’ll be sharing more of their clothes in the future because they invited me to partner with them. Thus, you get that 15% savings every time you use my code KAY15. Yay!

Wild Orchid Linen Pants

I always pick out my personal favorites before Lucy runs the numbers and finds yours. So I had no idea that we would be on the same wavelengths here. But I love the Easy Linen Wide-Leg Crops in wild orchid just as much as you do!

Tellulah Silk Camp Shirt

I love the Tellulah silk camp shirt from Tommy Bahama so much I purchased another one. Ha! I love that you can wear this exquisite but simple silk shirt very casually, like I did below for my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale photos.

But you can also dress it up, as I did for my speaking engagement a couple of weeks ago.

silk shirt // skirt // necklace // earrings // bracelet // heels

And I enjoyed the red (called Paradise Pink) one so much, I purchased it in the Blue Canal also. I haven’t worn it yet, though.

silk camp shirt

The silk camp shirt runs true to size. I do wish it were on sale. Maybe soon!

Ana Luisa Hannah Bracelet

I’ve really enjoyed working with Ana Luisa jewelry. Every piece they have sent me has felt substantial and lovely. But I have to say that I do think I’m enjoying my Hanna bracelet (c/o) the most. It is so dainty and pretty. Then again, maybe I just like it because my granddaughter’s name is Hannah. Grin.

Penelope Arabella Diamond Chain Necklace

And speaking of jewelry, I find myself wearing my Penelope Arabella diamond chain necklace almost every day. It works with all my other layering necklaces so beautifully. The photos do not do this necklace justice. When I ordered it from Rachel, I had no idea it was going to be so substantial and exquisite.

Athleta Momentum Stripe Seamless Tank

I’ve had several questions lately about what I’m working out in in this extreme heat. The model below is wearing almost my exact outfit, minus the shoes. I’ll try to take a photo soon, but I’m loving my Athleta seamless tank in white mini stripe, my Interval Stash 7″ shorts (mine are in granite blue) and my Solace bra (in white).

Athleta seamless tank

The Athleta seamless tank is especially soft, lightweight, breathable and pretty. These exact pieces are not marked down right now at Athleta, but they do have some good deals. They are my go-to for activewear that feels good, lasts over time, wears well and looks nice.

Linen Patch Pocket Shorts

And finally, I got in some new linen patch pocket shorts from J.Jill just last week and find myself wanting to wear them daily. I resist, mind you. But I could!

tee (c/o) // red linen shorts (wearing a medium) // belt // sandals // necklace (c/o) // earring (c/o) // bracelet (c/o) // see original blog post here

The linen shorts do run roomy, but I went with a medium since I carry my weight in my hips and didn’t want them to be tight there. I’m happy with the fit. I shared 6 ways to wear these surprisingly versatile shorts in this recent video in my LTK Shop.

That’s a wrap! I guess we can turn the calendar page and move on with July now. Thanks so much for stopping in. Let us know if you purchased any of these top sellers (or my favorites, too!) and what you thought. I always love hearing your feedback. Have a great day.

Spread the love

Blessed for My Day

Kindness. It seems like such an ordinary thing. Not nearly as special as love or generosity, not as flashy as passion or exuberance. But when push comes to shove…as life often does…I don’t think there’s anything I crave more from other people than just a little kindness. Truly, it’s an attribute we don’t give much thought to…until it’s missing. Then we realize what a treasure it is for someone just to be kind to us.

Don’t minimize the power you wield when you treat others kindly. Through kind words, deeds and gifts, you have the opportunity to soothe a hurting heart, encourage the weary, provide a little fuel for the running-on-empty and affirm the uncertain. You’ll never go wrong by being kind. Never.

What is desirable in a person is his kindness… ~ Proverbs 19:22a

  1. I bought the two-way tank in another color earlier in the spring. Glad I did because it filled a gap in my wardrobe.
