Holiday weekends are traditionally packed full of good bargains. But one of the best deals I see going this weekend is the Colleen Rothschild Customer Appreciation Sale. So today I thought I’d share a rare Saturday blog post and help you out with what to buy in this great skincare sale. Especially if you’re interested in trying some science-backed, cruelty-free, high performance products that will truly yield noticeable results, I think this is a sale worth shopping.
This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links.
I had the privilege of meeting Colleen in person at LTKCon in September, and I was so impressed with her knowledge about skincare, but also her kindness and personable demeanor. You know how you meet people at conferences like that one and they seem to be looking past you the entire time you’re talking to them? As though they’re looking for someone “better” to visit with? Well that WAS NOT Colleen at all. She engaged sincerely with me and seemed genuinely interested in YOU, my dear readers here at Dressed for My Day. You see this successful entrepreneur and skincare expert is an over-50 woman herself. And she’s a cancer survivor. Plus her enviable skin is a testimony to her knowledge and the quality of her products.
I was gifted a set of Colleen Rothschild products in September and have been using them ever since. I’ve even reordered as I’ve run out because they’re just that good and enjoyable to use.

I know you’ve got other things to do this weekend besides read this blog post, so I’ll run through my favorites real quick and then share a shopping widget with other products I’m going to give a spin.
I apply a few squirts of this Micellar Cleansing Water to a cotton pad to remove my makeup each evening. But I love that while it removes my cosmetics beautifully without a lot of tug or pull, it also nourishes my skin and conditions my lashes while leaving eyes, lips and face clean and revitalized.
The Micellar Cleansing Water is formulated with Pumpkin Seed Extract, rich in Antioxidants and Vitamin E, to help neutralize free radicals.
The Colleen Rothschild Beauty Radiant Cleansing Balm is like a spa in a jar. The aromatic complex in this silky balm soothes and decongests while the Moringa oil restores luminosity and the Lipexel™ combats dehydration.
I take a small amount of the Radiant Cleansing Balm from the jar, rub it between my hands to “heat it up” a bit and then gently massage it into my face and neck to cleanse away the makeup and grime of the day. It feels so refreshing; I actually look forward to cleaning my face each day! Then I carefully remove the silky product from my skin with a warm, damp muslin cleaning cloth, again, wiping in upward strokes.
If you’re trying the Radiant Cleansing Balm for the first time, you might prefer to buy the mini balm, which includes a muslin cloth. Or if you’re a diehard Colleen Rothschild Beauty Radiant Cleansing Balm fan, you might want to purchase the 200 ml jumbo jar this time around to take advantage of the good deal (it’s a $130 value sold at $95, then you get the additional savings of the sale!).
The Glycolic Acid Peel Pads work as a chemical exfoliant, formulated to help dissolve skin-clogging dirt, debris and sebum. You can use them daily, but I find that the glycolic acid is a little much for my skin on a daily basis. So I use the pads just two evenings per week after cleansing my face.
The pads are soaked in product and with 60 pads in a tub, I’m still on my first jar. You simply gently wipe your entire face, neck and décolleté with the peel pad, avoiding the sensitive skin around the eyes and mouth. Then I let that set a bit before proceeding to the next skincare step.
The Extreme Recovery Cream has become my night cream of choice. It can be used morning and/or night, but I reserve it for evening. The Extreme Recovery Cream is silky and spreads easily, absorbing quickly into my skin and leaving it feeling soft and moisturized.
The Extreme Recovery Cream provides continuous maximum moisturization while also protecting the skin’s natural barrier that keeps hydration in. I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my skin with use each evening.
The Colleen Rothschild Retinol Supreme Eye Serum is one of the products I mentioned in my video, My 10 Holy Grail Skincare Products. This silky, oily eye serum has significantly reduced the fine lines around my eyes. And it leaves my skin beautifully prepped for eye makeup and under eye concealer. It absorbs quickly and helps my eye makeup stay set beautifully all day, all the while working to moisturize, lift and firm the skin around my eyes.
I just apply the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum in the morning before applying my makeup, but you can also use it at night.
If you’ve been around Dressed for My Day long, you may already know of my love for Face Oil No. 9. In fact, I wrote a whole blog post about this soothing oil. And I do indeed believe it is the crucial skincare product that many women are missing and it’s costing them money.
It turns out that without a good face oil, you are at high risk of having all those luxurious and hard-working serums and lotions evaporate into the air. That’s big money floating off in the air each night! But when you apply a rich and effective face oil you help those pricey products stay in place so they can do the work they promise to do.
The Colleen Rothschild website says to apply the Face Oil No. 9 after cleansing your skin. But I read countless articles that said to apply your face oil over the other products so that they stay absorbed into your skin. Either way, I know you’ll love this Face Oil. I wake up with my face feeling soft and moisturized rather than dry and scaly now.

Blessed for My Day
I’ve been reflecting lately on how I respond when different things happen to me. The truth is, our buttons get pushed every day, so to speak. Whether it’s a careless word spoken – or typed in an email or comment, a spiteful charge or just a thought that comes into our heads seemingly from nowhere, we get bumped and pushed around a little throughout the day. But then the ball is in our court. We can respond in like manner, make them pay, work ourselves into a fiery frenzy or spew off at someone else. Or…we can respond like Christ.
For the next week I’m going to help us consider a variety of situations that we sometimes react to rather than responding wisely. Then we can think on those things and consider our personal patterns and behaviors. Hopefully that will help us make some corrections if needed. Meanwhile, let’s ask the Lord to make us humble and teachable so that He can show us if there is any “hurtful way” in us and lead us in “the everlasting way.”
Search me, God, and know my heart;
Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way. ~ Psalm 139:23-24
