What I Purchased & Love in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025

Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I think I can officially say that now that EVERYONE can shop the sale at 12:01 a.m. EDT Saturday, that’s just after Friday midnight on the east coast, but earlier Friday night elsewhere. In honor of the sale officially opening to everyone, I’m sharing what I purchased and love in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025. I do still have a few things making their way to me, but most of my order is in. In fact, I’ve already returned a few things. Let’s see what I purchased and how it fits.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is an annual pre-fall mega sale that was begun in appreciation of the store’s credit cardholders. But after the cardholders have a chance to shop the sale, Nordstrom opens it to everyone else for 3 WEEKS. So yes, some things have sold out. But there’s still plenty of time for returns to come in and be put back into the sale. Hopefully you have the items you’ve been scouting out in your Nordstrom Wish List. If they’re marked SOLD OUT, leave them in your wish list. Then check on them daily, especially the final couple of weeks of the sale. I checking on this pair of jeans daily because they ran big and I had to return the size 31s I ordered, but they are great jeans. (I’ll order the 29 or 30, whichever appears first!)

But here is what I ordered and love. Most of this is still available, but I’m linking things that are sold out, too, just in case. I’ll share my size information, but ask if you have any questions.

Paige Sasha Jeans & Frank & Eileen Shirt

Well phooey! As of Friday morning these Paige Sasha Jeans were still in stock, but now they are sold out. I know that’s discouraging. It is for me, too, because I was really looking forward to sharing them with you. They are my favorite jeans really, and I already have a couple of pairs. But I love this wash and length, and the finished hemline. I size up to a 31 in them. I fully expect some sizes to come back into stock, so if you want to check in on them occasionally and don’t have them in your wish list, just come back to this post and click through for updates.

This Eileen relaxed button-up shirt is on par with their other Eileen shirts, and the price is good in comparison. It runs true to size. I think the navy and white pinstripe is going to be very versatile and smart in my fall wardrobe, but I can wear it now, too. This 100% top is easily a four-season shirt.

The Rag & Bone retro runner sneaker looks modern and I love the brown detailing on the creamy beige background. It does come in a black combo and a fuchsia option. I would consider sizing up if you sometimes need to. I’m wearing my true size 9.5 and it fits nicely, but my toe is at the end of the toe box and it’s none too wide on me. I won’t wear mine with socks, but if you prefer to I’d definitely size up.

Paige Nepheli Sweater Vest & Paige Sasha Jeans

Well look a’there! These Paige Nepheli sweater vests were sold out this morning and they’ve been restocked.

I like this Paige Nepheli sweater vest, but I also got in the Nordstrom grey v-neck sweater vest and like it better. That sweater vest is still sold out and I seem to have deleted my link in fact. If it comes back I’ll share it for sure. This Paige Nepheli sweater vest runs true to size and comes in a pretty camel also.

The Vince booties above are one of my favorite purchases. They are super soft and the ankle shaft is narrow, but not too narrow for my chunky calves and ankles. So I can walk in them nicely. Whereas I’m having to return these Margaux booties because the shaft is too narrow for me (but may not be for other women). I’m so disappointed that I did not get the Vince booties in the brown suede and if I see them pop back into the sale, I’ll grab them.

Frank & Eileen Shirt and Nordstrom Lennox Wide Leg Trousers

I had a feeling these Nordstrom Lennox wide leg trousers would be a good buy and they are.

These wide leg trousers are constructed in a medium density knit fabric that has beautiful drape and feels substantial. The wide leg is modern and accommodating. They have a zipper and double button fly and an elasticized back waistband with a flat front. They have side pockets and no rear pockets.

Here I’m wearing the pants in a 12, which is a size up for me. I don’t know why I went up a size??? I’d say they fit true to size or even a little large. If you waffle between two sizes, go with your lower size. Below I’m wearing the same pants in a 10 and they’re still roomy, but I think this is the right size for me. You don’t want these trousers to be tight.

Keep in mind that the trousers I’m showing from the Nordstrom fitting room hadn’t been pressed, but the ones I showed from my morning room had. These are really great pants at a very sweet price. Below I’m showing them in the brown sweet.

Nordstrom Lennox Wide Leg Trousers and Vince Button-Front Vest

I really purchased these brown sweet Nordstrom Lennox wide leg trousers to wear with the brown v-neck sweater vest I got (that’s sold out). But I didn’t show it here since it is sold out. Again I’m wearing a size 12 here, so you can see they are definitely too large. I’m reordering in the 10, but maybe I should get an 8. What do you think? Maybe I’ll order both.

The Sam Edelman slingback pump I’ve shown in black and in Parisian plum suede fits true to size. Sam Edelman actually sent me the black pair in a PR package, but they sent a size 10, which is a half size too large for me. They clunk pretty badly when I walk, so I hope to pass those on to my mom. But the 9.5 fits perfectly and doesn’t clunk when I walk. They’re quite comfortable for a 2.5″ heel. And I’m especially excited about the Parisian plum suede anyhow.

By the way, keep in mind that I am 5’8″. The Nordstrom Lennox wide leg trousers are quite long on me, even with the 2.5″ heel. I’ll need to have them hemmed about 2 inches to wear with these cacao brown suede Vince slingbacks that I purchased but didn’t show here. I highly recommend those, by the way. Very comfortable and so chic.

Nordstrom Rib Wool & Cashmere Cardigan & AllSaints Hobo Bag

I ordered this Nordstrom rib wool & cashmere cardigan at the last minute, more out of curiosity than anything. If you like a cardigan, this is a nice option.

I’m probably returning this wool & cashmere cardigan simply because I have something very similar from last year’s NSale still in my closet. But this cardigan is a nice blend of sweater and tailored jacket. It will give your outfit a little more definition but still feel comfortable and cozy.

Here’s another item that was sold out Friday morning, but seems to have been restocked. Odd. Maybe they’re restocking some things for the public sale. We can only hope! This AllSaints Leather Hobo bag is really modern and so chic. It is on the large side, even for me at 5’8″, but I’m keeping it.

I love the trending oxblood color of this AllSaints Leather Hobo bag, but it does come in black leather and chestnut brown suede, too. I hear the suede bag is beautiful.

Eileen Fisher Ponte Pants & Rails Cardigan

Here are two of the few things I purchased in store on Tuesday. As much as we may like to try things on before purchasing them, I’ve found that shopping online truly is the best way to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They generally have very limited stock in the stores, at least the stores I’ve shopped.

That said, I had passed by these Eileen Fisher ponte knit pants online, but I was drawn to them in the store. They function like a true trouser with a zipper and double button fly, but they have a flat waistband and no pockets for a very streamlined effect.

The ponte knit pants fit very nicely with plenty of wiggle room. I was actually quite surprised at how well they fit. I sized down to a small as I usually do in Eileen Fisher.

I’m not sure I had even seen the camel Rails cardigan with blanket stitch detailing online. But this trim fit sweater is striking and so comfortable with a 94% cotton, 5% cashmere, 1% acrylic blend. I just discovered online that the trim is navy; I thought it was black. Ha! I guess I won’t be wearing it with these pants after all. But it will look nice with jeans and the navy pants I did purchase (which are sold out).

Nordstrom Crewneck Cashmere Sweater & Paul Green Loafers

I’ve long been a fan of the Nordstrom Crewneck cashmere sweaters. I think the quality is not quite as nice as, say Vince or Jenny Kayne, but definitely nicer than Quince. Just keeping it real. That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy my Vince and Jenny Kayne sweaters, nor is it to say that I don’t wear Quince. I have all of those in my wardrobe. But the Nordstrom cashmere sweaters strike a happy balance between costly and reasonable with really good quality.

And if you can get one of these cashmere sweaters in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale you’ll be paying right at what you pay at Quince. So they’re a smart buy in my opinion. The crewneck cashmere sweaters come in several nice colors, including this grey night. They fit true to size; I’m wearing a medium.

And finally let me tell you about these black crinkled patent leather lug sole loafers from Paul Green. One of my favorite shoe brands, Paul Green is known for their extreme comfort and modern styles. Not only are most of their shoes beautifully cushioned for comfortable walking, but they also are smooth and soft on the inside, perfect for feet that can’t tolerate any irritations. They’re pricey, but they always have a good assortment available in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so that’s pretty much the only time I buy them.

You can’t really see it in the photo above, but these lug sole loafers feature edgy grommets at the keeper strap. You can scroll up to another photo to see them better or just visit the website through my link for an even better look. They also come in tobacco brushed leather and wine brushed leather, both of which would work well with so many outfit choices this fall. They’re exquisitely comfortable and I love that they give me another 1.75″ for wear with longer pants.

Like I said, I have a few more packages yet to arrive. And I did purchase a number of beauty exclusives. I’ve gathered all of my purchases, including those that worked but I’m returning, in a shopping widget below. But, hey, you do you. In this sale, to thine own self be true. Don’t be tempted by any “everyone needs this” mantra. Shop the sale smart, stay within your budget and enjoy your purchases.
