I think they read more like loungewear, and they’re certainly worthy of spending a cold winter day in, curled up in front of a fire with a good book. My family fought over this super soft and cozy Koolaburra by Ugg aurora chenille knit throw when they were all here for Thanksgiving. We have several throws in each room, but this is the throw that everyone wanted each time we sat down. It also comes in dark rose; mine is in wild dove.
Fortunately no one else in my family shares my shoe size or we’d been fighting over these Koolaburra by Ugg women’s suede slippers, too. The faux fur lining is so soft, but doesn’t make my feet feel hot either. And I love that these Koolaburra by Ugg women’s suede slippers feature a hard sole so that you can walk outside in them to get the paper, take the dog out or bring in firewood. I wear a half size, so I sized up to the next whole size and they fit great. The suede slippers come in other colors, too.
Next I found a lovely plush hooded zip robe from Koolaburra by Ugg. I’d been looking for one of these to wear while getting dressed…before actually getting dressed. Know what I mean? You can certainly wear it as a robe over your sleepwear, but I like to slip into it after a bath while I put on my makeup and do my hair.
The plush hooded zip robe also comes in a grey shade and I’d say it runs just a little small. I’m returning my medium for a large, just so that if I do want to wear it over something it will be a little roomier.
Next up, the cuteness you’ve been waiting for! If you have a pet on your gift list this year, I’ve found the perfect present. Our Cooper, who belongs to my son and daughter-in-law, looks adorable in this Koolaburra by UGG faux suede sherpa pet vest.

Cooper is wearing a size medium very comfortably. That which we focus upon grows. Do you find that to be true in your life? I’ve found that when I focus on the faults of my loved ones, those imperfections grow and my aggravation increases proportionately. And when I dwell on my problems, they swell from mole hills to mountains quickly. When I fixate on hurtful words or comments, they take on more weight than they are due. And when I worry about the future, it becomes daunting and even more mysterious than it really is.
But on the other hand… When I shift my focus from those things and seek the Lord instead, the things of this world become strangely dim. And the greatness of my God grows somewhat closer to the reality that it is. Truthfully, I will never, this side of heaven, understand the ability and love and involvement and power of my God. I just can’t completely comprehend how holy or “other than” He is. But when I choose to remember His faithful deeds and proclaim aloud the attributes of His character, I do begin to see Him more clearly. And the things that once seemed so daunting, so bothersome or so hurtful diminish…until eventually they almost disappear. So what will you focus on today?
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! ~ 1 Chronicles 16:10-11
