Valentine’s Day is one of those sweet holidays that can sneak up on us. So I’ve rounded up some lovely gifts for the special people in your life…or for you! You’ll find a little something for everyone from your honey to your grandkids in my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide. By the way, the red letter day is just two and half weeks away and it lands on a Saturday this year. Fun!

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.

Valentine’s Day Gifts for Your Loves

Whether you want a sweet gift for your daughter and daughter-in-law or you’re buying a token of your love for a friend, I’ve found some lovely options. But don’t forget to browse these gifts for a little something for yourself. You may want to drop a hint (and send a link to this blog post) to your sweetheart.

card case with money clip // travel size perfume // heart drop earrings // silk scarf // rosy glow blush // suede bag // nail polish // candle // dior blush // silver bracelet // heart stud earrings // leather jewelry case

When I get a gift for someone I like to give them something I would like, but more importantly something I know they will enjoy. So keep in mind their personal interests and likes. But I’ve tried to select a variety of gifts at different price points here. Personal favorites from the collection above include the leather jewelry case, the travel size perfume and the silk scarf.

catchall tray // Kindle // socks // watch // coozie // bombas socks // airpods // boxers // slippers

The men in my family love their Bombas slippers, their Kindles and their airpods. You’ll find more to choose from in the shopping boutique below, too. (Use the toggle on the right to slide down.) Happy gifting!

Blessed for My Day

Do you enjoy your relationship with the Lord? I’ve discovered that I generally enjoy things to the degree that I invest in them. If I invest the time, effort and money in a good wardrobe, then I’m more likely to enjoy wearing it. And if I invest time and effort and sacrifice in my marriage, I get more out of it, too.

Likewise, when we invest in our friendship with God, we enjoy Him more. We can do this by worshiping Him with our congregation, singing praise songs, memorizing Scripture, reading our Bibles and spending time in prayer. As I invest in those spiritual disciplines I grow in my desire to please Him through obedience and service.

I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart. ~ Psalm 40:8

xoxo, Kay

  1. Thank you for your suggestions and ideas for gifts for St Valentine’s Day You are spot on with the Blessed for my Day, as relationships only flourish when we put effort and time into them. It’s easy to do this when things are going well but so important to keep putting in the effort and time during the bad times. Your DFMD posts are always inspirational but just as inspirational are your BFMD. Thank you
