I officially started my gift shopping this past week with the first Christmas gift I buy my family each year. Yes, I have been buying family members Bombas socks and slippers for years now. And they all love them. My first order came in recently, so I thought I’d share a few of those selections with you today. And right now you can get 25% off sitewide at Bombas, no minimum purchase required.

Bombas for Christmas

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.

Did you know that for every item you purchase at Bombas they gift a product to someone in need? To date Bombas has donated 150 million items to men, women, boys and girls in need of clothing and support. They gift to overnight shelters, transitional living facilities, street outreach teams, rehabilitation centers, Title 1 schools and medical service professionals. In fact, I’ve had readers here at Dressed for My Day tell me that they have helped distribute Bombas socks and undergarments at facilities where they were volunteering. Pretty cool, huh.

And I love that Bombas is so thoughtful about their gifting. The socks, shirts and underwear they donate have thoughtful features such as:

  • an antimicrobial treatment that extends wearability between washes.
  • versatile sizing to fit a wide range of body types.
  • darker colors, to show less visible wear.

So giving Bombas socks is like giving the gift that keeps on giving. But I can pretty much guarantee you, based on my experience, that when you give Bombas to a friend or family member, they will love them, too. Bombas makes high quality socks that are also comfortable, durable, functional and stylish.

Bombas makes socks for the different activities your family members and friends enjoy. My drawer is filled with their hiking socks and running socks. This Christmas I got the performance golf socks above for my son-in-law.

But you don’t have to be active to enjoy wearing Bombas. In fact, my husband loves lounging in his Bombas Sunday slippers that I got him for Christmas last year. You’ll also find cozy house socks with grippers (like these for men and these for women) for everyone in the family. But Bombas also has a wide assortment of everyday socks. This year I got my daughter a gift box filled with four pair of Merino wool blend calf socks shown above and below.

Abby doesn’t like to be cold, so I think she’ll love these super soft, cozy Merino wool socks. Don’t they look fun? I love that Bombas has so many gift sets that come in great packaging. That really makes gift giving easy. You don’t even have to wrap these cute, durable containers. Just stick a bow on them!

And speaking of fun containers and gift boxes…I’ve saved the best for last! I’m so excited about the Bombas gift set I got my little granddaughter. She’ll turn one just before Christmas, and she may well be walking. She’s already cruising around the furniture.

Gripper socks for Toddlers

The toddler holiday gripper calf socks gift set includes four pair of cute socks with limited edition holiday designs and fun faux snow trim at the top. Of course they have the tiny grippers on the bottoms to keep your toddler from slipping on hardwood floors, too.

Mom and dad will love these socks, but I have a feeling my granddaughter will enjoy playing with the tube container the most. Ha! Bombas has similar socks for older kids, too.

Blessed for My Day

As we approach the holidays and more specifically Thanksgiving, I like to make a more concentrated effort to be grateful. But I’ve learned that gratitude is an attitude that must be expressed through giving thanks before it really has full impact. It’s not enough to feel thankful; we need to express that gratitude by verbally expressing our appreciation.

So this week I’m trying to take the time each day to express my gratitude to one or more people. If I don’t tell them thank you, how will they know of the gratitude in my heart? And double the points, so to speak, if I express that gratitude in front of other people. There’s just something about receiving heartfelt thanks in front of others, isn’t there? Of course, that principle applies to our relationship with God as well. We need to express our thanks to Him, and He loves it when we sing His praises among our friends and family, too.

Therefore I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name. 2 Samuel 22:50

xoxo, Kay

  3. I’ve never tried Bombas. I have bought smart wool socks from REI for my family before. I’ll have to check these out. Thanks. Could you send link to the red shirt you are wearing. So pretty on you.
