December 26, 2019

Well hello, dear gals! I hope you had a lovely Christmas celebrating with family and friends. We’re with family for just a bit longer and then we’ll be heading home. But I’m hoping for just some sweet time with my loves today.

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale Shopping Guide

If you’re up to doing anymore shopping (oh my!!! hahaha!), Nordstrom has begun their annual Half-Yearly Sale. I’ll definitely be browsing through the offerings with upcoming birthdays and an anniversary in mind. But it’s also a good time to finish up shopping for your winter wardrobe if you have any holes in it. (Now that I live in the north I can understand why people still buy winter clothing and coats at this time of year. Ha!)

Oh, and stop back in here if you decide to shop the sale another day. The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale runs through January 2. And I’ll try to keep this shopping guide stocked with great deals with you in mind.

This is such a great time to register for the FASTer Way to Fat Loss. If one of your New Year’s Resolutions is to eat healthier, lose weight or inches, exercise more regularly or efficiently or simply get in better health or shape, you really should consider at least one round of the FASTer Way.

I’m absolutely loving using the new FASTer Way App. I get all the workouts, meal plans, community, recipes and coaching videos in one place! I personally have been kind of “phoning it in” with my fitness for the past month, but I’m planning to hit the ground running with the new year. The next round begins December 30th, so sign up today if you’re interested.

Blessed for My Day

Luke 2:19 is perhaps my favorite verse of the Christmas account according to Luke. Not because I think the story is about Mary. I know it’s not. The miracle of Christmas is Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us.

But I identify with Luke 2:19. Don’t you? And I love that God chose to give us a glimpse into this young woman’s heart at this poignant time in her life. Of course a glimpse is all it takes for us gals. With just about a dozen words or so we women feel the magnitude of Mary’s musings.

Let’s you and I not stop pondering the story of Christmas quite yet either. Let’s allow the miracle of Christmas to linger in our hearts as we prepare for the new year. In fact, let’s allow the birth of Christ into a sin-stained world to capture our thoughts for many days to come. We could begin by thinking about what Mary may have been pondering. Hmmm.

But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. ~ Luke 2:19

Spread the love
xoxo, Kay
