When I ask my guys what they want for Christmas, it’s unanimous: they all want Bombas socks. No joke. Yes, this post is sponsored by Bombas. But my son Daniel started asking for Bombas socks for Christmas before I even started blogging here. And this year my husband, son-in-law and dad all want these comfortable socks, too. Bombas socks are the number one Christmas gift requested in my family.

And I don’t hesitate to grant my guys what they asked for because I know that for every item ordered from Bombas, an item is donated to someone experiencing homelessness. I love that. Socks are also the number one requested clothing item in homeless shelters, that’s why Bombas’ mission is to help alleviate that need. To date, Bombas has donated more than one million items on behalf of their customers.

I think socks are such a risk-free gift to give. We all need them and wear them. So as long as you have an idea what size the people on your list wear, you can give them socks with confidence that they’ll keep and wear them. And once they’ve tried Bombas, they’ll love them.

My husband James requested the men’s running ankle socks. He specifically asked for the neon cobalt, which seems to be out of stock, and the neon yellow. They have Bombas’ Hex Tec construction for breathability and moisture-wicking. They’re specifically designed for movement, so I know James will enjoy wearing them for running and walking the neighborhood.

My son Daniel has taken up pickle ball. So he requested a 3-pack of all-purpose performance ankle socks.

I got him the all-purpose performance ankle socks in the galaxy green mix, but they’re available in other color combinations, too.

I had wondered why Daniel chose these exact socks and then I read on the website, “From pickleball to basketball, these All-Purpose Performance Socks are designed to support you during any sport. Designed with a breathable, sweat-wicking yarn that keeps you cool and dry, these also have a cushioned tab at the ankle for extra blister protection.”

My dad Jerry likes to get new socks to wear to church. So I am giving him the men’s dress calf socks in dark charcoal and black. They’re available in several other nice neutrals, too.

Even Bombas’ men’s dress calf socks feature their signature honeycomb technology that make the socks feel like a gentle hug for your feet. And these shorter dress socks have “stay-up technology” that helps them wear well, too.

My son-in-law Andrew had been working mostly from home up until just recently. He’s requested the Bombas solid calf sock 4-pack for his casual work environment. He’s getting the navy olive mix, but the cushioned-footbed calf socks come in other color combinations, too.

Aren’t those colors great, though? And he’ll also enjoy the honeycomb arch support, the seamless toe and the stay-up technology built into these everyday socks.

I know all of my guys are going to love their Bombas socks (gifted). In fact, as I was wrapping their gifts, I decided to order the women in my family socks from Bombas, too. I’ve already ordered my daughter-in-law Stephanie the women’s hiking quarter sock 3-pack because I love my hiking socks from Bombas so much.

Yesterday James and I saw the movie The Blind. It’s the true story of Phil Robertson, who you may recognize as the man behind Duck Dynasty. I haven’t watched much Duck Dynasty, so I was not familiar with Phil’s journey from poverty and drunkenness to the man of faith he is today. I highly recommend you see this movie if it’s still in a theater near you. It was so inspiring.
But more importantly the movie reminded me that all of us, including yours truly, have or have had things that master and control us…until we experience the life-changing, resurrection power of Jesus Christ. And yes, even on this side of our salvation story, we can struggle with temptation. But if you have a personal relationship with Christ through His death and resurrection, remember that He gives you the power each day to overcome those things. Walk in that freedom today. Do not let the enemy of your soul have a single victory this day. Instead, live in the victory secured for you by Christ.
…nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. ~ 1 Corinthians 6:10-12
Thank you for the gift idea of the Bombas socks!
Like you said, everyone can use them!
It’s wonderful the company donates an item for every item sold.
I also want to say your hair looks really nice, I love how you styled it in the pictures.
I also want to add that I agree with you about the movie “ The Blind “. It truly shows the power of God in Phil’s transformation to a Christian man.
We watch the show Duck Dynasty so are familiar with who Phil and Kay Robertson are.
I like your Bombas and I like the philosophy. However, they shrink a lot so size up
