I’m swooning over so many items from the new collection at J.Jill. I ordered a few pieces and immediately put them into a couple of outfits, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. I appreciate J.Jill for their relaxed vibe, comfortable fit and feminine details. Let’s check out a few of the J.Jill new arrivals for winter 2025.

How to Shop Here: To shop the items I feature, just click on the words in the captions of photos, the highlighted words in my text or the images in the shopping widgets I sometimes include. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links. Items that have been gifted to me by the associated brand are indicated with “c/o”.

Just for sizing and fit reference, I’m 5’8″ and about 160 pounds with a medium frame. I have an hourglass shape and even proportions. I usually wear a size misses 10 or medium in tops and bottoms. But at J.Jill I almost always size down to a small in their dresses and tops. I waffle between an 8 and 10 in their bottoms, and sometimes I do need a small. But today I’m wearing my true to size 10 in the side-button-wide leg trousers. J.Jill does carry a wide range of sizes in most items, including petite and tall lengths.

First up I’m wearing the navy side-button-wide leg trousers with a button front shirt from my closet. I thought this would be the best way to show off this hand-embroidered jacquard soft jacket. Such a beautiful way to add texture, color and interest to a simple pairing.

I actually picked up the hand-embroidered jacquard soft jacket in the store a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it is selling out fast in most sizes.

By the way, my Haverhill Palmer dome pendant necklace is an amazing 25% off and you get $50 back at checkout. This Christmas gift is everything I hoped it to be: classic, feminine, versatile and simply stunning.

Let’s talk about these side-button wide-leg trousers. Wearing my usual size 10, they fit really nicely and maybe a little roomy. Like I said, I seem to always be between sizes in pants and jeans at J.Jill. But I know so many of my readers have great luck with them. I’ll definitely wear these into the spring. So soft and comfortable, but also classy and a little sporty.

Here I’ve paired the cotton-blend trousers with a bright and cheerful waffle knit Henley sweater. The 55% cotton and 45% nylon yarn is knit using a mid-gauge stitch for rich texture and exceptional softness. The sweater is also available in a nice oatmeal heather and navy blue.

I did size down to a small as usual in the sweater. You could easily wear a white or striped t-shirt underneath for a little extra warmth and interest.

I’ve delayed my YouTube video this week to Thursday. But I hope you’ll join me for it because I’ll be styling scarves for winter, and I have so many helpful tips to help you feel comfortable and look stylish with scarves. This fringe-trim jacquard scarf is one you can easily wear through winter and into spring. And fringe is so “in” right now.

I’m carrying a woven leather convertible bag from Quince. I do love this bag. It has designer vibes (very similar to a Bottega Veneta $5k+ bag) but a very reasonable price tag. You can carry it as a shoulder bag or top handle satchel.

I completed this casual look with sporty, low-profile Tretorn sneakers. I’m going on three years with these comfortable, on-trend sneaks, and I slip them on frequently. They fit true to size.

Maybe seeing me in just a few of their styles helps you with sizing. I’ve collected more of my favorite styles from the J.Jill new arrivals in the shopping boutique below. Just click on the item to get more information or to shop.

Blessed for My Day

At the time Jesus was born, the Hebrew people were starving for a word from the Lord. They surely felt lost and hopeless, maybe even forsaken, although we know God never left them. For almost 500 years, from the time of the prophet Malachi to the time of John the Baptist, they had not heard from God. But He was working a plan He had put into motion before the foundation of the world.

You and I have ample opportunities to “hear from the Lord.” We have Bibles at the ready, devotional guides and podcasts, televised worship services and praise songs. If reading the Scriptures has become a chore on your to-do list, consider how desperate the Israelites were to hear from Him during this true drought of “the words of the Lord.” Let’s feast with expectation and joy on God’s Word today and each day.

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God,
“When I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread or a thirst for water,
But rather for hearing the words of the Lord. ~ Amos 8:11

xoxo, Kay

  1. You look beautiful in every outfit. Thank you for the more casual outfit because that is more the season I’m in right now. Looking forward to the video on scarves.

  2. Hi Kay, My favorite exercise is to walk. However on these cold and windy days, I forego that. Having partaken in Physical Therapy off and on for many years, I’ve whittled all the exercises down to about 1 hour. These are directed to specific areas that need stretching, range of motion, and strengthening. These sessions I schedule for three times a week with walking other days. That is my routine. Busy days will of course change that. I want to get back to my recumbent bike after the holidays, too. That is good for indoor days. BTW I’m 75 and try to KEEP MOVING– ( :
Love you and you always look beautiful in the clothes and styles you show us.
