With the advent of a new season, it’s time to rethink our jewelry choices. That said, I tend to wear the same favorites year round with a few exceptions. But I thought I’d share the jewelry I love in case you’re looking for new accents to complete your fall outfits. I’ve rounded up my personal favorites as well as some that are on my wish list.

This year we’re seeing a few trends in jewelry, but I plan to stick with the classics for the most part. We’re seeing more geometrics and bulbous type earrings and pendants. And we’re seeing the return of the long pendant necklace, which I’m all for. I think they’re the perfect accessory for a pullover sweater this time of year. We’re also seeing a continued interest in mixed metal jewelry, which I love, too.
Penelope Jewelry Co.
While there are some new jewelry trends in fashion jewelry, we’re also seeing a continued emphasis on fine jewelry. I’ve just started building my fine jewelry collection in recent years, and I only have a few pieces. But I find myself choosing to wear them more than any others. Yes, definitely wear your fine jewelry for everyday life.

My collection really began when Rachel of Penelope Jewelry reached out and offered to gift me a couple of pieces in order to promote her art. I absolutely love the pieces I have from Rachel. I wear my Arabella diamond chain necklace and Maya hoop earrings more than anything else in my jewelry box. They feel fine and dainty and exquisite, but also very appropriate for most days. You can always use code KAY20 for 20% off your purchase at Penelope Jewelry.
Lagos
Another beautiful option is to build a collection of fine fashion jewelry. These are pieces that are expertly crafted from fine materials with longevity in mind. My Lagos collection is also small, but I tend to wear these three pieces every time I travel. I love that they are a mixture of silver and gold, making it easy to pair with whatever other metals I may be wearing in my belts, jacket buttons, shoe hardware, etc.

Of course, Lagos jewelry is not inexpensive. This is the jewelry most of us have to plan for purchasing. But they do have some beautiful new pieces for the fall. I especially love the 18k gold and black ceramic pieces they have for this fall.

You can check out some of my favorites from Lago in the boutique below. Just click on the item to get more information or to shop. Then scroll down to check out other jewelry for the fall.
Ana Luisa
Another beautiful option for everyday is Ana Luisa jewelry. This is fashion jewelry at it’s finest. I love that Ana Luisa is very transparent about the materials used in their jewelry so you can check against any allergies or sensitivities.

Ana Luisa tells you on each listing whether the jewelry piece is made of gold plated brass, gold plated sterling silver, rhodium plated sterling silver, solid gold or lab grown diamonds. I’ve found their jewelry to be very durable, easy to maneuver, and beautiful.
Ana Luisa jewelry is all water-resistant and tarnish-proof, so it truly is the perfect jewelry for everyday wear. Right now you can save up to 30% at Ana Luisa.
Julie Vos
I love the brilliance of Julie Vos jewelry especially in the warmer months. But I do continue to wear it through the fall and winter, too, especially when I want to add some shine to my outfit.

For fall Julie Vos has introduced some new mixed metal pieces as well as some lovely tortoise shell. If you love to use jewelry to add a real punch to your outfits, look no further than Julie Vos.

You can check out my favorites from Julie Vos in the boutique below.
Other Brands I Love
I do shop a few of our other favorite fashion brands for jewelry as well. But honestly I’ve found that these pieces stay in my jewelry box for a shorter time before I donate them or pass them on to someone else in my family. Most of these pieces tend to be trendier, but they still serve a purpose in my wardrobe.

Check out some of my favorite jewelry pieces for fall from Ann Taylor, Talbots, J.Crew and Nordstrom below. By the way, I also love the jewelry at J.Jill, but I couldn’t get it to load into the shopping widget below. Check them out for some beautiful pendants and earrings.

Blessed for My Day
When things get tough, where do you turn? I imagine most of us have friends and family we lean on when hard times hit. But even the most loving and compassionate people cannot be counted on 100% of the time to come through for us. They may care, but they can’t fix our problems or even carry the weight of them.
That’s why it’s important to develop a habit of running to the Lord with every concern, burden and hardship. We have a God who cares, shows compassion and is also an everlasting Rock, One on whom we can depend in every situation. Praise the Lord for His strength and compassion, His power and faithfulness. He is our ever present help in times of trouble.
Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock. ~ Isaiah 26:4

You showed some beautiful choices. I’ve enjoyed Brighton for lovely silver earrings and bracelets for many years. More recently I’ve had fun with Sorrelli, a woman-owned company in Pennsylvania, but only when on sale. Almost every day I chose to wear jewelry, at least earrings, in my retirement to shine. Thank you, Kay, for inspiration and generosity!
Ahh yes, I love my Brighton, too. Failed to mention them this time, but do love their quality and selection. I’m not familiar with Sorrelli. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely choices – very timeless pieces that one could wear for a lifetime. I’m a fan of delicate jewelry, but tend to buy vermeil because it is more affordable. Other than Nordstrom, one of my favorite places to get jewelry is Dana Tyler. I’d say they are an “affordable luxury” retailer. They offer so many beautiful pieces, with a very reasonable price tag.
I’m not familiar with Dana Tyler. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for sharing.
They are based in Florida, but you don’t have to go to one of their brick and mortar stores. Orders can be placed directly on their website. I discovered them while on vacation and have several pieces from them, which I wear all the time. They have held up well and look as good now as they did the day I bought them. 🙂
Thank you Kay for the Blessed for my Day today. Good reminder. It’s been such a hard week and weekend as my daughter is miscarrying her pregnancy again. This time last year she lost one at 3 months along and we almost lost her and now she is again at 6 weeks along. I’ve gone to friends and family for prayer and of course the Lord, knowing only He can comfort how they need and we need. They have a 5 yr old daughter now, but long for another baby. I pray the process won’t keep hanging on. She’s in pain etc. Testing every two days. Hard.
I have lots of fine jewlery from my husband back when we dated and first married and lately trying to wear it more.,
Kathy, I’m praying for your daughter. Heart-wrenching situation.
Thank you Terry. Means a lot that you would pray and comment. I’m thankful for the Lord getting us all through.
Oh my. I am so sorry to hear this. Of course I feel for your daughter and son-in-law, but I also ache for you. I know that must be extremely difficult to watch your daughter go through this. Bless you all. I’m pausing right now to pray. 🙏
Thank you Kay for responding and pausing to pray. Can’t thank you enough for lifting them and myself up to our Lord. It’s very hard and this morning it hit me hard again and just shared. Helps to get it out. Someday we look forward to a baby the Lord has for them if His will. I would not have my daughter if not for the two miscarriages I had before her. She’s such a blessing.
Very nice pieces. I hadn’t heard about long pendants coming back. I kept one I really liked because it’s not real long on my 5’2 height. Always love your devotional message.
