Some of My Favorite Amazon Prime Day Big Deals
I think everybody who visits Dressed for My Day regularly knows that I’m not really one to shop for fashions on Amazon. I just don’t have the knack for it like some do. But I do know that many people find amazing deals and great value in the Amazon fashion lineup, and there are indeed some great Amazon Fashion Big Deals to be had today.
But generally I shop Amazon for the household items we need over and over, travel essentials, housekeeping tools, gifts, games and other sundries. My husband and kids shop Amazon for electronics, games, kitchen tools and more. So I’ve gathered some of our favorite Amazon Prime Day Big Deals below. Just click on the photo to check out the savings available for that item. They’re substantial!
I’d love to hear what you’re shopping for in the Amazon Prime Day Big Deals. So let us know in the comments.

Blessed for My Day
My heart is heavy and a little anxious today for those in the path of hurricane Milton, especially since we’ve just witnessed and continue to hear of hardships faced by those who experienced hurricane Helene. These tragedies of nature leave one feeling so helpless and overwhelmed. I remember when my inlaws had a tree fall through their kitchen during hurricane Rita years ago. It took months to recover their home and the emotional toll took even longer to heal from. Sometimes life brings us tragedy that seems almost unfair and too difficult to deal with.
But the truth is that God is still on His throne. While we do indeed live in a broken world and will undoubtedly all face our share of hurt and tragedy, we have a God who does not waste any of that pain and suffering. He can use it to bring about good in our lives. And, if we allow Him, He can use the hardships to create more of His character within us. When you hit bottom, dear sister, always look for the treasure. As you allow God to shine His light on the situation you’ll find it. And you can come out of the storm stronger, more gracious, wiser and even more beautiful than before.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. ~ Romans 8:28

I try very hard to shop locally. Amazon is ok for a few things I can’t find other places. We need to keep our local businesses.
I could not agree more. I rarely resort to Amazon, and then only because a local store doesn’t stock it. In most cases I can find an equivalent in my local area. But I admit that Amazon can be a great option for people living in an isolated area
I completely agree. I’m a big supporter of local small businesses. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kay! Oh my i wear out far more quickly in recent days than ever before! I did have Covud three weeks ago but recovered then got a rebound case if this nasty virus! Now I tire after only one of my usual 3 one- mile walks each day. I’m nearly 78 so that could play into it but I’m a three mle walker for so long it’s been part of my life.
Changing clothes in dressing rooms ( for ne) is a chore. I now sit down but its still a hassle. I really don’t envy you. I guess my quick answer would be do only one video per day- pace yourself!
Great finds. I’ve been needing to order the Bissel cleaner but not sure which one to order. Do you own one?
I do and I love it. Mine is a few years old so I’m not sure which one it is most like. But I really like it for being compact and easy to manipulate.
A timely devotional toay!~ Well said! Thank you!
