You know I love a great blazer! Adding a blazer to even the simplest outfit immediately elevates your style. I especially like pairing a blazer with jeans for that super casual but chic vibe. And during the summer I find that topping an outfit with a lightweight jacket is a great way to keep off the chill of air conditioning in a restaurant, museum or theater. So today I’m sharing two fun casual blazer outfits that I put together with jeans and summer accents from Kohl’s.

In this first very casual blazer outfit I’m wearing comfortable mid rise, straight leg, light wash jeans. I did size up to a 10R in these jeans, but I probably could have stuck with my usual size 8. They’re a little large in the waist. But they are oh so comfy. And these jeans come in a variety of other washes, some with and some without distressing. And Kohl’s has sizes in short, regular and long lengths in these Sonoma Goods for Life jeans.
I think keeping the contrast in intensity low in this simple summer outfit helps elevate the style a bit. The light wash jeans topped with a white graphic tee and white gauzy blazer looks pulled together and soft, perfect for a casual summer date.
I accidentally got a size large in the BRAVE graphic tee, and I think my usual size medium would have worked better. So I think it’s safe to say these crewneck graphic tees run true to size. They have a variety of graphic designs to choose from. Wearing a fun graphic tee under a sporty blazer is still very on trend and always a fun option.
I accessorized this casual blazer outfit with my beige slip on sneakers and a simple zip around wristlet, perfect for taking in a movie. Kohl’s has some great shoes and accessories from brands you’ll recognize for their quality and comfort. I kept my jewelry simple, just wearing this multi-chain necklace and filigree teardrop earrings.
By the way, I love the long length on this open front blazer. The gauze fabric is so on trend, and the white is quite versatile. But this fun summer blazer also comes in a pretty coral, too.
While I’m still wearing jeans, I did elevate the next summer casual blazer outfit just a bit with darker wash jeans and more color. This look, put together completely with selections from Kohl’s, would be perfect for brunch with friends or even vacation dining.
My Levi’s classic straight leg jeans run true to size and run full length on me in the regular misses length. But they do also come in short and long lengths. This dark wash works nicely with all the color I’m wearing in the v-neck tank and fruited vines ruched sleeve blazer. But the classic straight leg jeans do come in other washes, too.
While my LifeStride sandals are certainly as comfortable as they look, I think the gold and sheer straps are really quite flattering and fun. Adding a little sparkle to an outfit is a great way to elevate the look a bit. They run true to size. Oh, and these LifeStride sandals do come in a few other fun colors and metallics, too. AND they are available in wide width.
The polyester v-neck tank comes in other colors and patterns, and features a front lining. I also got the white one, but opted for this coral when I saw how well it worked with the dark wash jeans and the fruited vines ruched sleeve blazer. Isn’t this blazer so fun for summer? Both pieces fit true to size.
I accessorized this casual blazer outfit with the same multi-strand necklace, but this time I wore some fun colorful earrings. Unfortunately they are sold out, but these pineapple drop earrings or these orange earrings would be fun. And I carried a fun straw wristlet accented with coral hearts.
