October is about to wind up and Christmas is seeming oh so near. Today I’m sharing a gift guide for the young women in your life. These gift suggestions were curated by my 29-year-old daughter Abigail and her friends. So you can know these are gifts that young women really want.
I made sure we included gifts for teenagers and women into their 30s, singles and married women. And we have provided gifts in a wide range of prices. So whether you’re looking for a meaningful gift that will wow her or a stocking stuffer, I think we have you covered. And whether you’re shopping for a dear granddaughter or a young woman whose name you drew at book club or Bible study, I think you’ll find an appropriate gift here.
Be sure to check out my other gift guides through the link in the top menu or HERE. I’d love for you to do all your holiday shopping here. So let me know if there are specific types of people you are shopping for. I’ll have more gift guides coming soon.
This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links.
PS – My web designers got the glitch with the devotionals fixed, so you should find a Blessed for My Day at the end of the post!
Spread the love
For the Home
Whether your young woman has a family, lives by herself or has roommates, she'll appreciate the gifts for the home we have collected here. Remember, even single young women deserve to have nice cookware and cloth napkins! My daughter and several of her friends love the Half Baked Harvest Cookbook. Abigail and Andrew cook from it weekly.
Jo Malone London™ Pine & Eucalyptus Scented Candle
All Things Beauty
Every young woman deserves a little pampering and to feel pretty. If your gal enjoys makeup, trying new scents, a lovely bodywash or a good lip gloss, you'll definitely find something for her here. Use code KAY15 at City Beauty if you order the lip plumper gloss and use code kay15 for 15% off Tarte regular priced items.
Here I've collected several thoughtful gifts that will let your young woman know that you've truly tried to choose a special gift for her. She's be surprised and delighted that you knew to get her something (anything really!) from Rifle Paper Co. And the books I've selected are personal favorites of mine and my daughter's.
For the young lady with a sense of style, we've selected fashionable and fun gifts in a variety of price points. Abigail loves this Shaker-Stitch boyfriend cardigan and the cable-knit turtleneck sweater especially. But she also picked out the jewelry in this collection. And a sweet organic cotton bandana makes a sweet and practical stocking stuffer...or use it to wrap another gift!
Maybe your young woman is active and fit or maybe she's just busy and always on the move. She'll enjoy the gifts in this collection of on-the-go must-haves. The Stanley Adventure tumbler is the travel mug everyone is talking about these days. And Bomba socks are my favorite to wear with my running shoes. I also love the Run With It Jacket from Athleta. And young women seem to love anything from Rothy's (like the wristlet and the sneakers I've shared here).
Don’t forget that the greatest gift you can give the young woman in your life is simply to spend time with her. The Bible instructs older women to be diligent and purposeful about teaching young women how to love their husbands and children well. You and I know this is indeed a high calling. Having a family requires sacrifice, time management, prioritizing, patience and love.
Older women are also supposed to train younger women in how to take care of a home. You might be surprised at how little many of the young women in your neighborhood or church know about home management. I’ve found that most young women are very receptive to learning how to set a table, produce a home-cooked meal, grocery shop on a budget and clean a house on a schedule. When we begin by developing loving and gracious relationships, we soon have the opportunity to share the little things that help a young woman navigate life a little more easily and gracefully.
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. ~ Titus 2:3-5

Hi I’m commenting on yesterday’s video. You hit the mail on the head ! I was shocked to see how much my hair looks like the don’t. Thanks for the advice.
Same here. I have about a fourth of the amount of Kay’s hair. Almost chin length and I blow it under. Go outside and the humidity “grows” it and the breeze blows it and it’s not what I looked like when I started! (I hate hair spray as it “gunks” up the bathroom!) After watching the video last evening, I flat ironed it but it’s not a flattering look on me. I hope 4/5 is a passing grade on the frumpiness scale.
UPDATE: I played around with my flat-ironed hair this afternoon because I had an unexpected appointment. I used my InStyler to “barely” turn my hair under and it looks good. Just as with the new jeans styles that take getting used to, it takes a bit to get used to a new hairstyle! I guess I’m out of the “frumps” now. Thanks for the nudge, Kay!
Hahaha! Trust me, I’ve been there. I have a natural tendency to want to turn mine under. I have to force myself to keep it more “natural” and less structured. Old habits die hard!
What a fantastic guide!! I ordered several things for my three daughters from here. (And maybe a little something for myself, too!) Have a wonderful Christmas, Kay!

Great! Way to go, Terry. Indeed, everything takes some getting used to!
