I love having a few easy-breezy dresses I can throw on during summer. They’re fun to wear with sandals or sneakers. And while you know I love me some neutrals, I like to add a splash of color with my casual summer dresses. Especially for wearing at home on a busy day, I love a cheerful but comfy summer t-shirt dress. So today I’m sharing several great options from Walmart. #walmartpartner

All three of the simple summer dresses that I’m sharing from Walmart are pink (because I was personally looking for a pink one to add to my wardrobe!). But each of these fun dresses come in other color options. I love that I was able to find so many fun, good quality options at affordable prices on the Walmart website.
This bright pink flutter sleeve swing dress is in a lightweight 95% rayon and 5% Spandex blend. It feels silky soft and is not thin. I like that the back has a shirred yoke and those flutter sleeves make the dress feminine and work perfectly for those of us with larger upper arms.
Both my swing dress and these braided band sandals are from Time and Tru, one of my favorite brands to shop at Walmart.com for affordable, but stylish fashions. These sandals fit true to size so comfortably. And they also come in a sort of sage green and black.
I styled my shocking pink swing dress with simple hoop earrings (similar earrings) and my Time and Tru denim jacket. This denim jacket has some nice stretch in it and fits very comfortably true to size; I’m wearing a medium.
This short-sleeve midi dress is constructed from 65% polyester/35% cotton fabric and is machine washable (as are the other two). It features a flattering V-neckline and an optional same fabric tie sash. The hemline features a small vent on either side, just enough to add some interest without sacrificing modesty.
I know I need to remove those little belt ties at the waistline. Note to self: pack some scissors in your photo shoot bag! You’ll definitely want to do that if you purchase the midi dress in this pretty faded rose or any of the other three colors it’s available in.
DFMD Style Tip: Make your denim jacket look “lighter” by rolling the sleeves up a bit. No need to do a fancy fold or roll. Sloppy rules the day! An easy roll up will look effortless and chic.
And finally I have an easy breezy t-shirt dress to share with you.
While it’s certainly been popular for a while to wear white sneakers with your summer dresses, I’ve heard several times recently from authoritative sources that it is all the rage currently in London. Somehow knowing that the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing this fun combo makes it all a little more legit, right? Hahaha!
These white faux leather sneakers are also from Time and Tru, and they fit me true to size for a roomy fit. I’m not wearing any socks with them here, but I would definitely suggest some no-show socks for a more comfortable, wear-all-day fit. I found some great no-show socks from Avia for a great price at Walmart.com.
My fuchsia pink t-shirt dress is from Free Assembly, another brand I especially enjoy shopping on the Walmart website. The fabric is 60% cotton and 40% polyester, so it’s lightweight, a little stretchy and less prone to wrinkle than 100% cotton. This dress comes in several great colors and some stripes, too.
You can see that the t-shirt dress hits me just above the knee and I’m 5’8″ with equal proportions. Of course this fun dress always works nicely with sandals and looks great with that denim jacket, too.
Thanks so much to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post. But remember, I personally chose all the styles I shared and all opinions I’ve expressed are genuine. I love being able to share great fashions at affordable prices here at Dressed for My Day. And Walmart makes that possible!
I’ve added some other great styles I love from Walmart in the shopping widget below.

Are you trying to discern God’s will in a matter but feel a little uncertain? That’s normal. After all, God doesn’t generally write His instructions for us on a wall. But make sure that your hesitancy isn’t rooted in doubt. In the book of Judges, Gideon “laid out a fleece, asking for God to give him a visible sign that He would save Israel in an upcoming battle with the Midianites…as He’d already promised to do! God graciously obliged Gideon not once, but twice. But that doesn’t mean that we should do the same.
Remember, Jesus told Thomas in John 20:29, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” God loves it when we trust Him and move forward in faith without pressing Him for signs. So instead of asking for signs and crystal clear directions, lean in to getting to know your God. Read the Bible daily, meet Him in prayer throughout your day and meditate on Scripture regularly. The better you know your God, the more clear His will for you will become.
Then Gideon said to God, “If You are going to save Israel through me, as You have spoken, behold, I am putting a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I will know that You will save Israel through me, as You have spoken.” ~ Judges 6:36-37
