Welcome to my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 headquarters. This is where you’ll find all the items I’ve selected to feature. I based my selections on quality, affordability and versatility. My goal is to help you build a wardrobe that works for you. So I’ve selected fashions and accessories that will contribute beautifully to a well working wardrobe for the modern classic style.
I will continue to add more styles all the way through the sale. I’ll also be adding my top favorites just before July 12th, when cardholders get early access to the sale.

Sweaters – Pullovers & Cardigans
There are so many beautiful sweaters in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. I’ll be stocking up since I’m moving from Arizona to Ohio! But I’ll be choosing carefully.
Remember, to look for classic sweaters in your preferred wardrobe neutrals (black, grey, brown, navy, white or off white) or your signature colors. For more information about how to select the best colors for your wardrobe read this post. Almost all of the sweaters I’ve selected are actually available in multiple colors and patterns, but only one will show until the sale goes live.
Coats, Jackets & Blazers
I’ll also be looking for great bargains on coats and jackets since I’m moving from the desert to the North. If you have any suggestions about what kind of coat(s) I should look for or features they’ll need, please let me know. Meanwhile, I’ve selected a variety of coats for you to look at.
I have basic coats for those who, like me, need an all around coat. But I’ve also chosen some of the pretty plaid or colorful coats that you might like as a second or third coat. Personally, I’m shopping for a leather jacket this year.
Women’s Shoes & Boots
Shoes are some of the best buys in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You’ll find deep cuts on shoes and boots that don’t frequently go on sale once the season begins.
This year we’re continuing to see a lot of leopard print, but snake and crocodile are also making a big splash. This might be a great year to invest in some snakeskin booties or flats. These textured prints lend such sophistication and interest to even the most basic outfit.

Denim
If you’ve been wanting to try premium denim but without paying full price, now is your chance. And there’s a lot of it this year! I can personally recommend AG jeans, 7 for All Mankind and Frame. I also have lower priced jeans in the widget, too, with some coming in less than $50.
Handbags
So many great bags available. I had a hard time keeping this list short.
Other Accessories
This is a great time to look for designer sunglasses. But I’m shopping for a felt/wool hat and maybe a textured belt. Check out my selection.
Jewelry
There’s a wide selection of jewelry available in the sale, but I’m recommending the brands I love and wear. Gorjana hardly ever goes on sale, so this is definitely the time to snag it up.
Tops
Really this sale isn’t about the tops. Sure you’ll find some. But then you can find reduced price tops just about any time. I do, however, think this is a good time to buy the basics you might need for your summer or fall/winter wardrobe: solid tees, turtlenecks, chambray, solid blouses, etc.
