Happy Friday! With the Abigail’s wedding in mid-May and some sponsored posts that had to be scheduled for certain days, I got behind on sharing our favorites for the month. So even though we are well into June I’m pausing now to share the things I loved and wore in May, as well as the top five sellers at DFMD. Plus, this little exercise really helps me to think about my purchases, what’s working and what’s not. Let’s check out our May favorites!

In May I started wearing a lot of linen. So among my favorite pieces are my linen shorts, my linen demi boot pants (I have them in flax and navy) and my linen jacket. I especially find myself reaching for that bomber style jacket a lot when I don't know what else to wear.
I also chose some of my favorites from the wedding, of course. I absolutely loved wearing my Adrianna Papell brocade ballgown. I've got a link to the peach one, too, but I wore the blue green one. And I've enjoyed wearing my pink eyelet dress a few times in May, including to the wedding rehearsal dinner.
Finally, I wanted to call out this white v-neck t-shirt. It's a little pricey, but it is a great tee!
In May you ladies loved mostly what I also loved. Among the topsellers were the linen shorts, pants and shell I mentioned in my favs. But you also loved the natural colored jeans that I shared in last month's favorites. And many of you purchased the collared silk-blend sweater that is surely one of our best sellers of the year. Many readers and viewers purchased the City Lips lip plumper as well. Relationships can be hard to maintain, even among those who are in our closest circles or family. Things are said, expressions are exchanged, texts are misinterpreted, words offend, birthdays are missed. Truly, the only thing that can help us hold our relationships together is the glue of grace. When we extend to others the forgiveness and kindness that God has graciously given to us, our relationships can weather the storms of life as well as the everyday, common offenses that otherwise accumulate with time.
To whom do you need to give a little grace today? It won’t be easy. But God has called us to protect those dear relationships with love, humility, compassion and patience. Ask Him to help you show the grace He has graciously shown you throughout your life.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.
