Welcome to Dressed for My Day! With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought we better take a break from fashion and beauty and check out some great gifts for the men in our lives. My husband and his buds helped me create this Father’s Day ’22 Gift Guide with your guys in mind. You’ll find gifts in all price ranges and for so many interests. And I made sure we had gifts that the older set and the young men would enjoy.

Let’s hear it for the men in your life! Men don’t get a lot of respect these days. I know that there are some who have indeed done dastardly and hurtful things. But let’s not neglect to show respect and gratitude to the men who have lived honorably just because some have behaved horribly. And that’s not to gloss over the fact that you may have been deeply wounded by a man at some time in your life. A good and honorable man can make such a difference in people’s lives.
So if you are married to or the daughter or a man who has loved God, worked hard, cared for his family and contributed well to his community, I encourage you to thank God for that man. Sing his praises to someone else today. Brag on him a little. But most importantly, tell that man how much he means to you.
You have been in my neck of the woods. Although we don’t live very far, for some reason we have never been, although I have heard it is a wonderful place to visit. Maybe we can make it there this summer! I am looking forward to seeing the pictures you take while there.
Been to French Lick, once the playground for celebrities. Glad you enjoyed it!
My sweet husband gave me a pickleball set for Christmas, an effort toward more activity for “us”. We’ve had so much fun! I have always been embarrassingly BAD at tennis, so I’ve really enjoyed the relative ease of pickleball. He and I can actually hit the ball across the net several times before it goes out, something I could never accomplish in tennis. Neither of us is ready for competition – we’re just having a good time together. Great gift suggestion, Kay!
