It’s not often I come across beauty products that make a noticeable difference in my appearance. But since I started using City Beauty’s pro-aging products that address some of the specific issues I have, I’ve had documented and significant changes. That’s worth telling you about! In fact, I’m sharing five of my must-have City Beauty products.

City Beauty’s City Lash
Now you and I know – because we’ve been around the block more than a few times – that “significant results” are always relative. What may be significant to me may look like nothing much to you. I say that because you have to understand that all my life I’ve had tiny, blonde eyelashes. All. My. Life. And aging hasn’t helped. Before I started using City Beauty City Lash, there were days I dreaded having my photos taken for this blog…all because my lashes were almost non-existent.
But City Beauty’s City Lash absolutely has made a significant change in my lashes. They may not look like much to you – I see you batting those full lashes at me! – but I’ve honestly never had lashes so full. Relative, ladies. It’s all relative. So if you’ve struggled with thin or thinning lashes, I can heartily recommend this product. I apply a thin line of City Lash just above my top lashes morning and evening.
City Beauty’s Beyond Mascara
But I also think that wearing City Beauty’s Beyond Mascara helps my lashes look fuller. I definitely have more lashes than in the past. But they’re still fairly short and thin. And they’re blonde and grey. So good mascara is a must for me.
Several coats of Beyond Mascara really make my lashes fuller and longer without getting gloopy or matted. That’s a problem I often have with other mascaras. But the applicator and the liquid consistency of Beyond Mascara really work for me.
City Beauty’s Restoring Hand Treatment
I shared in Wednesday’s video how much I like the Restoring Hand Treatment. Not only does it smooth the appearance of wrinkles and moisturize, but the botanical blend also brightens the appearance of dark age spots, minimizing them.
But I also use the Illuminating Dark Spot Corrector to help minimize the bothersome age spots. You can use it anywhere. I tend to put it on a few spots on my face and then apply the leftover product to the backs of my hands.
City Beauty’s City Lips Matte
I don’t think I’ve mentioned City Beauty’s City Lips Matte very often. I especially like to use this “stay put” formula when I’m taping videos because it does just that. It’s a liquid lip product that goes on rich and creamy but then “dries” to a smooth, matte finish. I put dries in quotation marks because it does not feel drying at all; the City Lips Matte just isn’t wet once it sets. But you could absolutely wear it just like this for a trending matte lip.
Above you can see the final result after applying both the City Lips Matte plumping creme in rosy mauve and the City Lips Lip Plumper in clear. Both products do plump your lips a little. But they also help prevent chapping and keep your lips really healthy, in my experience. Before I started using City Beauty lip products I was constantly battling chapped lips. But I’ve not had a single issue with chapping since.

City Beauty Must-Haves
Blessed for My Day
I firmly believe that the information we take in daily shapes the way we think about things, interact with others and live our lives. And in this information age, we actually take in content from sources without even being aware sometimes. The television shows we watch or even skim, the books we read, the magazine covers we see in the grocery store checkout line, the adds that scroll on my blog, the snippets of conversations we overhear, the news we read or watch, etc., etc., etc. All of it enters into our minds and takes up a little bit of space in the file cabinets of our brains, accumulating into opinions and thoughts that become deeply seated and weighted with what we soon perceive to be an impressive amount of evidence.
Unfortunately, a vast amount of that information is probably not worthy of that space. And some of it hinders us from thinking on the truth, the very thing that God calls us to persistently dwell on. And that’s why, dear friend, it is imperative that we spend time in God’s Word daily. It is the only combatant we have against this onslaught of misinformation and faulty opinions. And how wonderful to know that God’s Word is more powerful than the untruths and half truths that seep in. It can completely transform our thinking and help us see things more clearly. But we must take it in. We must take the time to read it, meditate on it, memorize it.
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. ~ John 17:17
