My orders have mostly arrived, I’ve shopped in the store, I tried everything on multiple times and I’ve made most of my returns. It’s time for me to share with you my 12 favorite #NSale purchases for 2024. And the good news is that most of these are still in stock. I’m sharing those that aren’t, too, because I’ve seen returns come in…and out again…almost every day on these favorites.

Now unlike my recent #Nsale blog post about my favorite finds in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this list includes only things that I purchased for myself in this year’s sale. These are the purchases I have in my home right now (I didn’t purchase them for my son-in-law or grandbaby, for instance) and they will play a key role in my personal wardrobe moving forward.
Because I personally shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale mostly for elevated basics and investment pieces that I don’t want to pay full price for, my list reflects that price point. There are still so many great finds in the #NSale at all different price points, as I recently pointed out in my blog post, Fab Finds Under $50 in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But this is just my personal list of the dozen things I purchased and love.
My 12 Favorite #NSale Purchases for 2024
These are listed in no particular order. I could try, but the order would change daily. Ha!
Paul Green Ursula ballet flat in sisal Leo velvet
I don’t think I even included this little ballet flat in any of my recommendations blog posts. But when I took a closer look at it on the website, I noticed that the leopard print pattern appeared to be raised and looked very sophisticated and rich. Sure enough, when they arrived the Paul Green Ursula ballet flats did not disappoint. The velvet leopard print is actually raised and beautifully textured.

The only thing that did disappoint was the fit. But I returned them for the next size up, and these on-trend flats fit beautifully. The Ursula ballet flats also are available still in most sizes in red suede, cashmere suede metallic (so pretty!) and black Nappa leather. But definitely consider sizing up. The one review on the website (at the present) also indicates that they needed to size up 1/2 size.

AllSaints Stevie cotton cropped t-shirt
I just really wish they had not called the AllSaints Stevie cotton cropped t-shirt cropped. Yes, it is shorter than most, but it definitely does not expose your midriff, unless you’re wearing low rise jeans or have a long torso, I suppose…maybe. I purchased this organic cotton ribbed t-shirt (a much better name for it!) in black, white and grey.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale always has a plethora of basic tees, but this organic cotton ribbed t-shirt from AllSaints is a more polished, thicker tee than most. It comes in a long sleeve version, too, and it fits similarly. I got a large in both, but I think a medium would have worked just fine.
Bony Levy BL Icon diamond pendant necklace
I knew I wanted to purchase a necklace similar to the Bony Levy BL Icon diamond pendant necklace before the sale preview even came out. Abby had purchased a Bony Levy diamond necklace at the same price point last year, and as I watched her wear it I saw how lovely it was.

I’ve already been enjoying wearing this necklace. I generally pair it with my Penelope Arabella diamond chain necklace, but I think it’s pretty worn alone, too.

Nordstrom marled double breasted knit blazer
This relaxed fit blazer was somewhat of a surprise find, but then again I could tell from the photo and the description that it was probably going to be a winner. Let’s just say I had hope it would be. And when it arrived it proved to have a luxurious feel and a beautiful drape. It’s the perfect blazer for a more casual lifestyle.

Actually, I had decided NOT to get a blazer this year. I felt like it would be smarter to get some other sort of casual jacket. But in the end, I’m a blazer gal. So since this one promises to be so versatile, it’s a worthy keeper. I keep seeing it sell out and then pop back in with a size or two available. And since it’s a Nordstrom brand piece (they knocked it out of the park this year really) I suspect this blazer could be restocked after the sale, at full price, of course.
Paul Green Vienna Chelsea boot in biscuit soft suede
For a few years there I hunted diligently for booties in this pretty biscuit soft suede color. But they’re hard to find. Not only will these Paul Green Vienna Chelsea boots in the soft beige go with lighter wash denim beautifully, but they’ll be great in the spring, too.

Paul Green shoes and boots are always an investment, but a worthy one in my opinion. I remember the first time I purchased a pair, and it took my breath away to spend that much on shoes. But I’ve probably purchased almost a dozen pairs by now because they are the ONE casual shoe that feels absolutely great on my foot.

I lean into Ally Shoes for comfortable pumps, but Paul Green sneakers and loafers and most booties are just the most comfortable casual shoes I’ve found. They’re soft on the inside with amazing cushion. These Paul Green Vienna Chelsea boots also come in black suede.
Paul Green Unity platform sneakers
I guess these should really count as two of my favorite purchases since I got the Paul Green Unity platform sneakers in all white and in sand biscuit combo. Originally I had ordered the pearl white combo instead, but when I saw the sand biscuit combo at the store they won me over. I love that these feature three textures – smooth leather, suede and metallic – and the coloring is soft and muted.

These sneakers run true to size and feel pretty amazing on. I love the platform heel because one of my favorite way to wear sneakers like these is with jeans. And I think that platform heel looks especially nice under wide leg jeans.

Vince mélange shaker stitch pullover sweater in heather grey combo
It took a while for the Vince mélange shaker stitch pullover sweater and as I waited I began to fall out of love with it. But when it did get to my doorstep I fell in love all over again. What would a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale be without the purchase of a beautiful, substantial Vince sweater? I do think I’ve bought one almost every year I’ve been shopping the sale.

This soft grey shaker stitch pullover fits true to size and close to the body. So while the way the model is wearing it makes it look oversized and a little masculine, the wool and alpaca sweater is actually beautiful and feminine. Speaking of fabric content, regardless of what the website says, the sweater is 76% wool, 15% polyamide and 9% alpaca. I suspect the camel combo shade is slightly different. It’s super soft and luxurious.
Vince Vida slingback flat in crimson leather
I had the hardest time deciding which color to get in the Vince Vida slingback flat. Originally I had the midnight blue suede in my wish list, and I sort of wish I’d gotten that one. But the crimson leather is striking and I think I’ll enjoy wearing it with jeans especially. It’s also available right now in a cinnamon brown suede and black leather.

Red promises to be popular this fall and winter. And there were surely no fewer than three dozen red shoe styles in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to choose from, including these classic loafer mules, these Mary Jane mules that Abby got, these patent leather kitten heel slingbacks, these patent leather slingback flats and these Stuart Weitzman cherry pointed toe flats. You can see all the other red shoe options here.
Lauren Ralph Lauren puffer vest in dark navy
It also took a while for the Lauren Ralph Lauren puffer vest to arrive. I’ve decided to make navy one of my neutrals in my color palette this fall and winter, so I had high hopes for this outerwear piece. Sure enough, it’s a nice switch from the Talbots puffer vests I’ve worn year after year. Nothing wrong with those vests, mind you. I still have several. But I love that this one is a little shinier, just a little more elevated.

I did purchase the medium in this puffer vest per the suggestions in the size guide. I always use those size guides and they rarely steer me wrong. I can comfortably fit the Vince Baja crochet sweater underneath, so I think it fits nicely TTS.
Theory wool & cashmere car coat in mélange grey
A double-faced wool coat can look so luxurious. This mélange grey wool and cashmere car coat is a case in point. Theory is known for their elevated classics made with beautiful details. The coat feels great on and has such a beautiful drape. I’ll undoubtedly pass this sophisticated investment piece down to Abigail one day (a long time from now, Abby).

Double-faced wool coats like this are not lined. Instead they are sewn with a single thick length of cloth with beautiful stitching. Because it’s wool and cashmere I expect this car coat to keep me quite warm.
Paige Sasha high waist column straight leg jeans
I managed to snag a few pairs of great jeans in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but these high waist column straight leg jeans by Paige are my favorite. First of all, Paige has become one of my favorite brands. They almost always fit and feel fabulous.

But the soft shade of black, the ease of fit and the straight leg column silhouette set this jean apart. I especially appreciate that the legs are full, but not too wide, giving that lovely, flattering column effect. Unfortunately, these jeans sold out fast. I’ve seen returns come in occasionally in various sizes, so check back frequently if you’re interested. They are $172.99 in the sale and the regular price is $259.
Elemis jumbo Dynamic Resurfacing facial wash
I have ordered the Elemis jumbo Dynamic Resurfacing facial wash for the last three years in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale at least. While I use a creamier, thicker balm to cleanse my face in the evenings, I love using this lighter weight cleanser in the shower to wash my face. It feels perfect for washing away sweat from a workout, the grime of a walk or just the film of sleep. And it rinses easily, leaving my face silky soft without stripping it of moisture.

Just using this jumbo container of the Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing facial wash in the shower, this one purchase lasts me all year long. That’s the kind of beauty exclusive I can get excited about.
So those are my top 12 favorite #NSale purchases of 2024. But I’ve included a few others that I’m thrilled with in the shopping widget below. I’d love to hear in the comments if you purchased anything you’re excited about. Remember, you always get free shipping and free returns at Nordstrom. And their customer service is pretty amazing.
You can check out all of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coverage here on the blog through the link in the top menu or HERE. And be sure to check out my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 collection in my LTK Shop, too.
Blessed for My Day
Do you know someone who needs a little encouragement or maybe some perspective? Or maybe you even think they could use some sage advice. You absolutely may be able to speak something good into their life that will encourage or comfort them. Maybe you’ll be able to share some wisdom, too. But the best words you can share with someone are God’s words.
Consider writing out a Bible verse in a card and sending it their way. Or maybe you could just send them a text with a short verse and a note that says you’re thinking of them. God’s Word will not return void and it makes an eternal impact. Why not share the lasting gift of a biblical truth today?
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. ~ Matthew 24:35

Hi Kay,
You look great in everything. I actually purchased the Paul Green Unity shoes and the marled blazer but returned each of them last evening.
The blazer was nice but I thought about what you mentioned about dressing for our personal style so I returned it because I truly am not a blazer girl.
The PG shoes were OK but I couldn’t justify the price of them. I guess I just expected more from them.
One item that I really wanted was a Caslon jacket but they are out of stock in my size. I’m not able to add it to my wish list since my size is unavailable.
I guess I just need to keep checking for it. Hopefully it will come in.
Really nice choices, most of them out of my budget, but I borrow from your style ideas to adapt in my own way. I have a few items saved in my wish list from the NAS – many of them items you featured – that I haven’t purchased yet. I’m still pondering if it makes sense to get them or not. I try to make thoughtful purchases, if I can. 🙂
I absolutely agree. Trust me, I budgeted for these purchases, made them very thoughtfully and then put them through a rigorous test to decide if I’d keep them. I do have a larger clothing budget than I would if I weren’t writing this blog, of course. But I still build my wardrobe very intentionally. I think most people would be surprised at how small my wardrobe really is. 😉
