Happy Independence Day! I’m so pleased to be an American, and if you are one of my fellow citizens I hope you are celebrating with gratitude today, too. We have a lot to be thankful for in the United States. It’s not heaven on earth, mind you. Our nation certainly has some struggles. But men and women throughout the centuries now have fought and planned and worked to protect our liberties, and I am grateful. So today be sure to count your blessings, enjoy something yummy to eat, sport some red, white and blue, and maybe light a sparkler or two. But don’t forget to checkout a few of the 4th of July sales I’ve rounded up, too.

This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I potentially earn a commission on your purchases, but at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting my work here by shopping my links.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted a sales roundup. I really try to provide some style tips or motivation in my daily post. But I decided to take the day off to celebrate our nation’s independence, so I hope you’ll enjoy this little break from my usual posts.

I’ve culled through the sales listings and found the ones that I think are the very best. I’ve got all the coupon codes you’ll need below. And, when applicable, I’m sharing some of my favorites from the store. Happy shopping!

At Ann Taylor you’ll get up to 50% off full price items online only with code GOFOURTH. You’ll also get 60% off sale items. Use an All Rewards credit card and get Free Shipping.

Blessed for My Day

Did you know that we are at war even today to defend our nation’s liberties and prolong our success? And, no, I’m not even talking about the battles that go on across the aisles in Congress. You and I are waging a war with the powers of darkness to keep our own lives pure and above reproach. When we, as individuals, families, churches and communities, choose righteousness over convenience, personal desire or the popular opinion, we play a part in exalting our nation. It’s true: nations prosper when they uphold righteous behavior and choices.

Yes, there are issues on the forefront today that will largely determine the health of our country in the years to come. But we must not forget that we personally, individually also get to make choices that can prosper our nation for generations to come. When we fight for our marriages, choose to conduct our businesses with integrity, show one another respect, care for the poor and needy and pray for our leaders, we draw the favor of a holy and righteous God. Let us determine to live lives above reproach, doing our own part on the battlefield for country.

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. ~ Proverbs 14:34

  1. Hi Kay. There are a lot of great sales. Talbots is actually offering 50% off instead of 40%. Now that is my kind of sale. Enjoy your holiday. Happy Fourth!

  2. What a beautiful BFMD! Happy Independence Day! There definitely are some great sales taking place. I have ordered new bracelets from VE and a swim dress from Lands End, that with shipping ended up about 1/2 off.

  3. Your sentiments are so well worded in your Blessed for My Day closing. You really have a wonderful way of expressing yourself and I enjoy how you pass on your ideas and convictions. Thank you for sharing!
