Happy Independence Day! This weekend we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, and it does indeed feel like the party is a little bigger this year. Wouldn’t you agree? I’m sharing my favorite July 4th weekend sales in alphabetical order. I’ll keep the listings short and sweet, but I will call out a few favorite finds along the way, too.

The success of a nation depends on the collective success of individuals, as with any organization. According to God’s Word, if the people of a nation live righteous lives – godly and obedient to God’s Word – then the nation rises. But sinful people bring a nation down. We know this makes sense, but what are we doing about it?
It’s easy to point our fingers at other people and shake our heads in disapproval. But before we point out splinters in other people’s eyes, we must sure remove the beams in our own. This weekend as we celebrate the history of our nation, let’s also pause to search our souls and see if we can do more individually to improve our country. Let’s seek to be a righteous nation by being godly individuals.
