During the spring and summer I love the convenience of a pretty dress. Nothing makes you feel pretty quite like a feminine dress. So today I’m sharing three new colorful spring dresses from Jude Connally that feel fabulous and look oh so cheerful.

As always in collaborations, I got to select the dresses that suited me. And I always share my honest opinions about the items I share here – or anywhere – whether the post is sponsored or not.
The Libby dress from Jude Connally is one of my favorite styles. I like the longer length, the full tiered skirt and the fitted bodice. The short sleeves with the subtle puff and the v-neckline also suit me.
You’ll notice this Spring collection from Jude Connally features vibrant and deep blues and greens. I think this kaleidoscope floral navy is cheerful and fun without looking juvenile. I’ve accessorized all three dresses with my jewelry from Julie Vos: the Catalina gold stud earrings and the Catalina gold link bracelet are still available. My fern necklace is no longer available, but really any of their other selections would substitute in nicely.
The Libby dress fits nicely true to size; I’m wearing my usual medium. And of course it comes in other colors and patterns, too. It’s made in their signature Jude cloth, so the dress has a beautiful drape, feels cool to the skin, is machine washable and moves with you oh so nicely.
Next I’m sharing Jude Connally’s newest design, the Easton dress in stretch poplin. This maxi length dress is cool and comfortable, and I adore the flattering fit-and-flare silhouette. The playful navy umbrella stripe design will look perfect for outdoor parties and dining this spring and summer.
This flattering dress features a side zip for easy on and off. And the stretch poplin hugs the body oh so gently. It’s lightweight, but substantial, too.
The Easton dress has been hand printed and hand woven from artisans in India, making it unique among the Jude Connally lineup. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a medium.
And my final dress is the Susanna shirt dress in Jude cloth. I think this bamboo rattan navy is striking, but they have several other patterns and colors to choose from in this Jude Connally classic silhouette. This is the Jude Connally dress I get the most compliments in.
The Susanna shirt dress fits true to size for a body skimming fit. The Jude cloth is stretchy, silky and cool on the skin, so this dress is perfect for all day wear. It comes in two lengths, the regular and the long. I’m wearing a medium in the long length. Remember, I’m 5’8″.

Nothing gives away the variety of a tree quite like its fruit. If you bite into a sweet, juicy peach, you know it came from a peach tree. In the same way, the fruit of our actions and words tell the people around us what type of character we have. The fruit is an outward demonstration of what is on the inside.
The Bible tells us that the fruit produced in a Christian’s life is unique and winsome. As the Holy Spirit is given more room in our lives, He produces in us the fruit of godly character: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I wish I could say that I see this fruit sweet and ripe in my life at all times. But that wouldn’t be true. However, as we mature in our relationship with the Lord, we should see this fruit bear forth in our life more and more each year. How is your crop right now?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ~ Galatians 5:22-23
Sadly, I only have two dresses in my closet–and neither of them is suitable for spring! I have some shopping to do! I’m going to look for other dress options that you’ve linked, as well. Thanks for your inspiration!

Hi Julie, Jude Connally actually has a LOT of dresses in shorter lengths than these. I just chose the longer ones, but you’ll find so many more options for petites.
I recently saw some Jude Connelly pieces in person at a local boutique. Although I don’t own one, I think the fabric is perfect for travel as it will likely not wrinkle. As I read this post, I began to think about where I would wear these dresses. Curious what your readers think? Well, to me, these dresses are perfect for many other occasions, like a ladies lunch, a club meeting (I’m in a senior club). In particular these pretty blue and green colors would be perfect for a cocktail or dinner outdoors along the Jersey shore where I live. Nice post and quick recovery from the middle man delay…sometimes we have to expect the unexpected and just make the best out of it. And that’s what you did!

Beautiful dresses. The blue floral is my favorite. Being a petite plus I’m concerned that wearing the tiered skirt will make my legs look even shorter. But on you it is lovely.

I like the length of the striped dress but not the stripes. I really like the pattern on the first and third dresses. I do love dresses for summer. I think of them as grab and go!
