I can almost smell spring! I’m sure that some of my readers can even feel it where they live. And the stores are definitely starting to look like spring with new colors, fresh silhouettes and trending details filling the racks. Since so many of my favorite brands are beginning to get their spring lines in, I thought I’d pull out some of my early spring new arrivals from them for you.

Favorite Early Spring New Arrivals from 6 Favorite Brands

Early Spring New Arrivals from J.Jill

I love J.Jill for their easy-going vibe and earthy colors. Their tops, dresses and jackets tend to run a little large; I always get a small in these. But their pants and jeans tend to run more true to size or even a little small in my experience. Currently J.Jill is offering an extra 30% off all sale styles, but their early spring new arrivals are full price. But watch for them to offer an across-the-board discount soon. They’re usually pretty generous with those.

(J.Jill’s photos of their offerings look so much better on their website than they do in the following shopping widget. Definitely click through for a better look if you see something you’re vaguely interested in. These photos do not do them justice.)

J.Jill has a great reward program for their credit cardholders. You get 5% off every purchase and an extra 15% off during your birthday month. (I think that birthday special is supposed to be limited to one day, but my experience is they honor it all month.) In fact, anytime J.Jill offers a discount, credit cardholders get to take another 5% off.

Talbots’ Early Spring New Arrivals

Talbots is definitely my readers’ favorite retailer to shop. It’s one of mine, too. Talbots is known for their modern classic style, well-made garments, T by Talbots activewear and long-enduring tradition of fitting a real woman’s lifestyle.

As I’m writing this post, Talbots is still featuring their February collection, which I would say is definitely early spring and transitional clothing. So I’ve selected only true classics from this line. When I shop early spring collections I like to stick with the basics so I don’t end up with more flashy pieces that I push aside when the warmer weather clothes show up. But they definitely have more color and detail in other pieces in this collection. And hopefully they’ll introduce their true spring collection very soon.

Talbots has a generous Classic Awards program for frequent buyers. It’s free and no-risk. Since they frequently offer double and triple points days, it’s pretty easy to accumulate points towards rewards.

Savings Alert: Right now Classic Awards members can get 30% off one full price item with code SMILE.

Early Spring New Arrivals at Loft

While Loft actually caters to a younger clientele, I still find items I really love there. And I find their clothing to fit really nicely, too. A lot of their garments are very soft and comfortable, but also fashionable and youthful. I would say they probably are not quite as well made as items from Talbots or J.Jill. But the prices are good and they often run sales.

I think Loft probably has more spring collection coming, so I just chose the most classic pieces for my shopping widget below. But click through to see more of the early spring collection. I especially love this trending modern camel blazer and these Riviera slim pants (so comfortable!).

Savings Alert: Just through Saturday you can get 30-50% off most everything with code WKND at Loft.

J.Crew Early Spring New Arrivals

I do enjoy shopping at J.Crew, but I find it more hit and miss the older I get. They are known for their classic clothing with a very modern vibe. I’d say their target customer is in their 20s and 30s, but you can definitely find modern classic garments and accessories there that keep your wardrobe current. In fact, I think that’s what keeps drawing me in to J.Crew. They really help me keep my wardrobe a little more current feeling. I especially like them for graphic tees (LOVE this Gardener tee!), cashmere (although it rarely goes on sale) and classic pieces like blazers and button up shirts.

Savings Alert: Right now you can use code WARMUP to get 25% off select full price items at J.Crew. You’ll also get an extra 50% off sale styles.

Early Spring New Arrivals at Ann Taylor

I’ve shopped Ann Taylor for years and enjoy their usually colorful clothing geared to the working woman. Since I don’t work outside of the home or in a corporate environment, I lean on Ann Taylor for clothes that are appropriate for church and also the public speaking I frequently do. They actually do have nice jeans, too. And if you like to dress casually but with a more elevated style, Ann Taylor is a good option.

I find their clothing to run true to size, and I especially love Ann Taylor for their blouses and footwear selection, although shoes tends to run out quickly. Every Ann Taylor shoe I’ve ever purchased has stayed in my wardrobe for years and has been very comfortable. And their blouses are always exquisitely feminine but very professional.

Savings Alert: Right now at Ann Taylor you can get 40% off select full price styles (including most of the ones in the shopping widget above) with code STYLISH.

Early Spring New Arrivals from Chico’s

If you like to add drama and sophistication to your outfits, you’ll love Chico’s. This women’s boutique is known for their bold accent jewelry, their sophisticated but easy to wear travel collection and their woman-on-the-go Zenergy activewear. They tend to have lots of embellishment on their clothing and include exotic prints and patterns.

I recently received this oh so soft t-shirt and fun embroidered jeans as a gift from Chico’s and they’re going with me on vacation. And I recently purchased this faux leather jacket in vintage taupe, and I’m taking it along, too.

Chico’s tends to run just a tad roomy in their clothing. I think especially if you wear the smaller sizes you might need to size down. Recently Chico’s is changing out their savings deals daily, so check in there for discount opportunities. They always list their daily deals in a pop up you can access at the bottom of the website page.

That’s a Wrap!

I hope you enjoyed today’s shopping post. Let me know if you’d like to see more new arrivals favorites roundups like this and if it was helpful. I know we’ll see more beautiful spring styles soon. And it can all get a little overwhelming. I’d be glad to help you look for the best of the best!

Blessed for My Day

Some days it may feel like the enemy is winning. He has a way of making us feel like all is lost, like God is far off and like the world is out of control. But rest assured that while things may indeed be out of control, God is still in fact in control. And He is still near, too.

Draw near to God today and He will draw near to you. He longs to assure you of His love and power in your life. And He wants you to feel secure and rock solid so that you are not afraid. As we focus on His love for us, we will be reminded that He is good and He is at work. In that assurance we will find confidence and courage for whatever the day may hold.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ~ Romans 8:35,37

Spread the love
xoxo, Kay
