EVERYONE can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale now (as of Wednesday, July 28, 3 a.m. EDT)! Yippee! And while some things are indeed sold out, I found plenty of great bargains still available. Many have been restocked just in the last 24 hours. So even if you had the opportunity to shop early, you may want to check back in and see if any of your wish list has become available again. And below I’m sharing my best of #NSale. Now that all my orders have been delivered, I’ve shopped the store, I’ve tried things on and even returned some items, these are the sale items I highly recommend…depending on what you’re looking for and your budget.

Here are a few things to remember as you shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

  • Remember, all shipping and return shipping is free. So don’t hesitate to order multiple sizes if you are unsure about your size in an item.
  • However, Nordstrom does a great job with sizing information. So check the inseams, rises, leg openings, etc. carefully in the sizing information. This should help you make more educated purchases.
  • Before you shop, join the Nordy Club, if you haven’t already. It’s free and you can accumulate nordy notes toward future purchases.

Here are my favorite items in this year’s sale that are still available. I may update this list later today if I continue to see items restocked. I’m simply providing most of my favorites in the shopping widget. But here are my top five ALL TOGETHER FAVORITES. I mean I LOVE these purchases, and I’m so glad they’re still available…for now.

Kut from the Kloth Jeans and Vince Cardi (1)
Kut from the Kloth Elizabeth Fab Ab High Waist Raw Hem Ankle Straight Leg Jeans // Vince Slub Wool Blend Cardigan // P448 Thea Leopard Embossed Platform Sneaker // Halogen Teardrop Earrings (not in sale, but available) // t-shirt (not part of the sale)

FAVORITE: I love the Vince Slub Wool Blend Cardigan. This wool cardigan feels more like a thick, lush cashmere and has such a rich texture and appearance. It’s pricey, but it’s a beautiful investment piece. I originally purchased the medium (show above) but have since received the small, and it’s a slightly better fit. This sweater has a lot of stretch in it.

FAVORITE: My P448 Thea Leopard Embossed Platform Sneakers are almost sold out. But they have other P448s in the sale here and here. I really had no plan to keep these. But they turned out to be irresistibly comfortable. And I do think they look so fun and modern. The photo above does not do them justice, of course. That said, I do also love my Converse platform sneakers that I purchased in the store, too. They’re the ones I wore in this week’s video.

Tahari and Eliza J Dresses
Tahari Asymmetrical Knot Sheath Dress // Eliza J Flutter Sleeve Belted Crepe Dress // Karl Lagerfeld Royal Pump // Halogen Teardrop Earrings (not in sale, but available) // Coach Turnlock Clasp Satchel

FAVORITE: The dresses above are lovely. I especially like the green Tahari Asymmetrical Knot Sheath Dress. But the Coach Turnlock Clasp Satchel is my absolute favorite purchase of the sale. This bag feels so luxe and has such great compartments. I also appreciate that it has two completely detachable straps and both look beautiful with the bag.

Eileen Fisher Lantern Pants and Grey Cardigan
Club Monaco Shrunken Cashmere Cardigan // Eileen Fisher Crop Wool Lantern Pants (size down) // Halogen Teardrop Earrings (not in sale, but available) // Paul Green Dazzle Loafers (available, but not in Sale)

FAVORITE: I planned originally to return this Club Monaco Shrunken Cashmere Cardigan , but I’m keeping it. This is an investment purchase, but I wear a lot of black, so this light grey cardigan should see a lot of play time in my wardrobe. It’s lightweight and delicate.

FAVORITE: I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but these  Eileen Fisher Crop Wool Lantern Pants (size down) are my jam. They’re lightweight enough to wear early fall styled with my black loafers above. But I can wear them with narrow shaft booties in the winter. I love them styled with the Cashmere Cardigan above.

Frame Le Sylvie Crop Straight Raw Edge Jeans // Caslon Ribbed V-Neck Tunic // Eileen Fisher Joss Knit Bootie

FAVORITE: I don’t understand how these Frame Le Sylvie Crop Straight Raw Edge Jeans  are still available in all sizes unless they just had a massive amount of them. They are some of the best jeans I’ve ever put on. They’re premium denim, but I like these better than any of the other premium jeans I tried…by a mile!!! They’re soft, fit so nicely and have a very clean look to them, even though they have that nice raw edge hem.

Here are the other things I love in this year’s sale. This is my best of #NSale selections. Remember, the prices showing below are NOT the sale prices. You’ll have to click through for the savings. That’s not my choice; it’s just how the software is behaving.

Thanks so much for dropping in. I hope you enjoy shopping the sale, if that’s your bag! Let me know if you have any questions about the things I shared here or items you’ve seen me try in my other Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts. You can see all my sale coverage here.

Blessed for My Day

Not too long ago I realized late in the day that I kept tripping over a pair of shoes that was in the family room. It wasn’t until I’d stumbled over them half a dozen times when I realized I could move the shoes. I didn’t have to keep tripping over them. They didn’t belong there anyhow.

That’s how life is sometimes, too. We keep tripping up over the same things again and again and we wonder why. Sometimes the obvious is too familiar to register. But that’s why we need to keep an ongoing conversation with the Lord, so He can gently point out the “shoes in the family room,” so to speak. Is there something in your life tripping you up that doesn’t belong there? Move that thing!

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…” ~ Hebrews 12:1

Spread the love

  1. Hi Kay! Loved your NSale roundup. I did well with a pair of jeans and some Zella joggers, a bra, and bath towels! I was interested in the Eileen Fisher lantern pants, but don’t need a pair of “dressy” pants now that I’m retired. And they need to be “dry cleaned”, UGH!!! I laughed at your “shoes in the family room story!” I do the same thing with my athletic shoes. I take them off when I sit down on the couch, and they get tripped over all evening. It shows me that even good things (my shoes needed for exercise and good health) can be a hinderance and annoyance if they are in the wrong place at the wrong time!! Great visual, Kay!

  2. I think winter clothes are so much more fun to wear than summer but I’m not willing to move to a colder climate to wear them. It will not cool off here until November probably but it’s fun looking and who knows? We could have a cold winter or at least a couple of months of sweater weather.

  3. I bought the Tahari knot sheath Dress in black and love it! Such great lines. I also bought the club Monaco cashmere sweater in the light gray. I debated about that because I thought it might wash me out, but I thought I would wear it with black slacks, black jeans or regular jeans with a black tank or another color for a pop of color. Everything else I wanted was sold out in my size. A little disappointing.
The blessed for my day made me really stop and think that I do Have some obstacles in my life that I keep tripping over. I need to get rid of them and get them out of my way. Thanks for the wisdom. Bless you.
