I’m rolling out another Christmas Gift Guide today, and this one is important. With the help of my husband, I’m sharing 50 thoughtful Christmas gifts for your main man. In fact, who am I kidding? This list is 100% curated by my husband. He spent time on it! So, from my main man to yours, I think you’ll find something here that will perhaps surprise and even delight your husband, boyfriend or gentleman caller.

Remember, you can find all of my Christmas gift guides through the tab in the top menu. Eventually I’ll have gift guides for couples, families, the oldest adults, hostesses, work & business associates and young men. But for now you’ll find gift guides for women, children and young women ready for you to shop.
Let’s check out my husband’s recommendations for Christmas gifts for your main man. He has thoughtfully grouped them into categories by interest. These are his interest, and hopefully your main man’s interest intersect with James’ interests in at least one area.
Spread the love
For the Backyard Bird Enthusiast
James and I love tending to and watching the birds in our backyard. We've invested in this sweet hobby by purchasing binoculars, bird books, a nice birdfeeder and a bluebird house. We were thrilled to have a family of bluebirds in our little home this summer!
While we enjoy watching the squirrels scamper around our backyard, too, we don't want them on the birdfeeder. They tend to gobble the food and keep the birds away. So James uses the prescribed drop or two of the Cole's Flaming Squirrel Seed Sauce to keep them out of the birds' food.
If your main man enjoys the birds in your backyard or on his nature hikes, I think you'll find a nice gift or two for him here.

For the Outdoor Cook
Maybe your main man already enjoys grilling or smoking meat outside. He might already have everything he needs for that culinary hobby. But does he have the equipment for an outdoor crab, shrimp or crawfish boil? Recently James has taken up this outdoor cooking hobby, and he's collected all the accoutrements needed.
He likes this stainless steel stock pot with steamer basket because it's big enough for a crowd but works well for a dinner for two (with leftovers!) as well. And it works great with this large propane camping stove. The 48" stirring paddle with threads is a must! And he enjoys using the Zatarain's boil mixes.
James didn't even drink coffee until he was in his late 40s. But once he turned the corner he became quite the afficionado. Isn't that the way men are???
If your main man enjoys his coffee piping hot (like my main man does!), he'll thank you for the Ember temperature control travel mug or ceramic coffee mug. James even heats up his creamer in his mug each morning before adding the coffee! My main man also enjoys making coffee for us in the afternoons with his stainless steel Mueller French press. After his glass press broke, he decided it might be a good idea to replace it with the stainless steel. Turns out it keeps his coffee hotter, too. And you know how important that is to my main man! James prefers the Hario ceramic coffee mill to hand grind his beans. But if your man likes to use an electric grinder, James suggests the Mueller SuperGrind Burr electric coffee grinder shown here.
James does a good job taking care of our vehicles. And he knows enough about automotive care to do a little beyond the basics and then take it to our trusted mechanic for the rest. This year he has added several helpful diagnostic and initial care tools to his arsenal so that he can cut down on unnecessary trips to the mechanic.
He thinks your main man may especially like the functionality and helpfulness of the telescopic magnetic pickup tool with LED (to help see in those tight places under the hood), the Foxwell scanner (to figure out why that pesky engine light came on!) and the EverStart Maxx battery charger (no need for jumper cables or another car to hook them to!). But the Armor All complete car care holiday gift pack would make a thoughtful gift for your main man (or someone else, too!). And every main man (and young woman) should have an EverStart travel safety kit in the car.

Clothing , Accessories & Grooming Tools
Unlike me, James is pretty much a minimalist when it comes to fashions and accessories. Ha! But when he finds something he likes, he really likes it. We've gathered some of James' favorite jackets here, as well as a nice RFID blocking wallet and leather laptop case.
James also included a couple of his favorite grooming tools here. He's been wearing the modern and trending "3 day beard" for some while now. He loves the way a good beard balm keeps his whiskers soft enough that I'll still want to kiss him!

I find that most men love their technology. And while the younger men may be more prone to be on the cutting edge of technology, our older main men like having a few current gadgets and accessories, too.
James reads with his Kindle Paperwhite most every night, and still prefers it over other tablets for reading. And since we have neighboring offices, James tends to wear his headphones while working so that we can each enjoy our own music, webinars and work without interrupting each other.
Finally, I also wanted to point out the AccuMed finger pulse oximeter James included on the list. This handy tool helps you regulate your blood oxygen level, something that is important to monitor when sick or if you have a condition such as asthma.
In this final category James has shared some of his favorite "toys." Our whole family loves cooperative board and card games, so he included a good one. And he added a couple of his favorite "man movies," too. Of course, what's a movie or game night without pizza? So James shared his insulated pizza caddy. He's still trying to figure out why EVERY family doesn't have one of these. My son sure has one!
And because I didn't know quite where to include James' indoor garden kit, I've got that here, too. James also shared his two favorite seed packs to use with the hydroponic growing system.
Whether you are married to your main man or he’s courting you, I think today is a good day to give him a little appreciation and love. Most men feel loved when they are given respect. That sometimes seems a little patriarchal or even barbaric and unfair to some women. But we have to remember that men and women truly are wired differently. We women generally thrive on feeling valued and loved and adored. But men are created to crave a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
Of course when we remember that everyone deserves a little respect it makes it much easier to show respect to our man. True respect is shown when we listen (really listen) to someone, refrain from interrupting, speak kindly to them, talk about them favorably to others, greet them when they walk in the room and graciously consider their ideas and opinions. Showing respect doesn’t mean we never disagree with someone; it simply means we esteem their feelings and value the relationship more than we feel the need to win the argument or be right.
