Are you starting to get into the holiday spirit? With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s definitely time to start doing any Christmas shopping you may be planning. Shipping and supply problems continue to plague us, so we’re smart to place our orders early if we hope to have gifts in time for the holidays. So today I’m continuing our Christmas gift guides with about 50 thoughtful gifts for the active woman.

Tomorrow is an election day. We certainly will not talk politics here, but we will be reminded by God’s Word that we should be in prayer for our country, not just this week, but every day. We have an obligation to pray for those who are in leadership. Don’t you know it must be so challenging to stay true to your convictions and promises once you are elected into office? I can only imagine.
So let’s pray for wisdom as we vote tomorrow. But let’s also recommit to praying for those who are in office and those who will soon be taking office. Let’s pray for wisdom and courage and sound minds. And let’s pray for the men and women in those leadership positions to fulfill their duties in a way that honors the Lord and accomplishes His purposes.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2
No, you can certainly wear tights. They are a classic, especially in cold climates. I like to wear tights in the same color as my boots or shoes unless that’s just not possible. So black tights with black shoes or booties, navy with navy loafers or booties, and brown with brown booties or loafers, etc. If you can’t do that, then wear tights in the same colors as your skirt if possible.
What a wonderful BFMD, as well as a great reminder. You put together a great list. I got all of our Christmas gifts, with one exception, wrapped and under the tree this past Friday. I also got my husbands birthday presents wrapped while he was away on a hunting trip. I’m having shoulder surgery on 11/18, so I need to have all of that done in advance. I know that you and James are looking forward to having all four of your children home to make more special memories. Have a wonderful day!
Are black tights with a dress out of style during the cold winter months? I like wearing dresses, but my legs freeze in the winter. Thanks!

“Pedals” rather than “peddles”, yes?
Hahaha! Yes!
