This week was a whirlwind of work and getting ready to head out of town. Friday I flew to Georgia to visit family for the next week. So the work week was packed with appointments, working from home and a fun morning event in the community. Let’s see how I really dressed for a summer week that included work, several appointments, a social gathering and travel.

Now you probably won’t see me wearing casual denim shorts out and about this summer. I don’t believe you age out of them (or any other styles, for that matter), but they don’t really suit my personal style when it comes to the outfits I want to wear in public. I generally prefer a more polished look. But getting dressed for our day is not just about what we wear when we get out and go; it’s also about how we dress for days at home, whether we’re with those we love or all by our lonesome.
