I have heard whispers of this occasionally. But interestingly several of the beauty brands I shared here actually reached out to me directly to tell me about their involvement in the Amazon Prime Deals, eg BK Beauty, Doctor Roger’s, U Beauty and others. So I would think that the products you buy from them via Amazon would be good quality products.

Wow!, My cart is now full of stuff I have been wanting. Really appreciate the recommendations. One question. I have been cautioned by folks in the business against buying skin care products through Amazon. Apparently, there is no guarantee that the product is fresh, legitimate, or not as presented. From what I understand, manufacturers do not put a "use by" date on the product, but retail providers frequently purge their shelves for "stale" product and dispose of it, They say it loses its effectiveness and can become an irritant to skin if it is old.
Additionally, there have been circumstances where the product advertised is not the same that gets delivered. They can be knock offs or fakes, not containing the same ingredients.
Have you had or heard of any issues in this regard?
