Thanks so much for sharing, Julie. Just to be clear, this actually is a coat, not a dress. I think you may have thought it was the dress I showed last week, but it’s not. I’m with you on needing warmer coats. I was freezing in this outfit that day Ha! But I know I do have readers in warmer climates who enjoy seeing combinations that might work for them, too. Thank you so much for dropping in today.

Hi, Kay. I like like how you're using that dress as a coat. It's a lovely color on you. I don't usually think to wear a monochrome look. I would probably be inclined to add a scarf to this outfit, incorporating the same colors, to draw attention to the face. Also, I would need to wear a warmer coat, and button up!
I am working long hours at the computer from home, and am usually wearing jeans or joggers, a long sleeved tee, a cashmere sweater (trying not to save my favorite things), my Costco faux Uggs, and often a vest over that! I have a closet full of 40 years of accumulated business wear that I may never wear again. Most days I don't leave the house except to walk three miles before starting work, and then to the gym at lunch! I do like the opportunity to come up with an "outfit" when it's time for a haircut!
