In reply to <a href="https://dressedformyday.com/top-19-fashion-posts-from-2019/#comment-6808">Virginia</a>.

Hi Virginia! Thanks so much for introducing yourself. I love knowing a little more about my readers and their lifestyles. That’s so very helpful to me. I do have a lot of readers with are retired or who, like me, work from a home office. But I also have many who work in more professional environments so I try to provide office appropriate outfits and style tips at least somewhat frequently. If you ever have a particular style challenge, feel free to toss it my way. I’m always looking for post ideas that resonate with my readers. Thanks for sharing!

Kay,
I found your blog a few months ago while searching for dressing over 40 sites. I was drawn to your site because of your classic styling and wonderful commentary in Blessed for my Day. Even though we have different lifestyles and body types I typically find something useful. I am a doctor and a petite 5 ft. I need to balance the nuances of the medical environment dress work code- to appear competent, approachable, and fashionable. It is more than whether to wear a white coat or not. In fact in the hospital the person wearing the white coat is most likely not a doctor. Because of infection control reasons there is a movement to ditch the coats and shorten sleeves to above the elbow. Everyone seems to dress so casually today.

Happy Anniversary to you and James along with a Happy New Year! I discovered you on Pinterest shortly after you started your blog, and been following you since then. I love most of your posts and can’t really say which one is a favorite. I love modern classic looks, and I have a casual retired lifestyle in Colorado. I do a lot of shopping at Talbots, J Jill, Chico’s, Marshall’s and TJ Max. Target is a fun place for trends. I want to look fashionable, comfortable and put together at my age, but I don’t want to look like a trendy 30 year old. I think we should strive to be the best we can at the age we are!
