I just made my first ever order with j jill recently because I received their catalog in the mail and loved a flax colored linen shirt paired with a pair of light colored light weight cropped jeans on a model. I ordered shirt in an xs and the jeans in both 4T and a 6T. Even though I’m 5’7”, I chose the tall over the regular in the Jean because of reading the length in the description…I knew I needed the extra length. That is something I have learned from you Kay… know my ideal length and rise and order accordingly! Any how the 4T was a loose but good fit and the linen shirt I’m very pleased with. After that good experience, I ordered several of their high rise shorts: denim, khaki both size 4. They both fit great! I also ordered the linen pair you modeled, Kay, but in navy and another pull on style in navy. The website suggested I order a xs in both but I ordered the small and they were way too big. Returns are $7 or $8!! So figuring your size by paying attention to the description and the websites recommendations as well as reading reviews and j Jill has a great question/answer feature, I find all that research before pulling the trigger adventitious! I live in a small town in central Florida…I say this for 2 reasons: #1 Florida is oppressively hot and humid from mid May to mid October…light airy fabrics are a must. All items I kept have been so. #2 when I do travel the 1-2 hours to cloths shop, I’m very limited on choice based on style and sizes in any store. That being said, I’ve never shopped j Jill but so happy I was sent that catalog.

Good morning Kay, hope you are enjoying your vacation with family! Thank you for this try on session, I just went to my local J Jill‘s on Friday and I agree with you about sizing… Sometimes difficult to get it right! I do best with their Pima cotton T-shirts! Safe and happy travels
