I like the idea of doubling up on the color of the top/outerwear. And a cute plaid coat…sigh, that brings me back to high school when I had this gorgeous deep burgundy plaid toggle coat. I loved that coat so much I wore it all the way well into my 20s, until it came apart at the seams and was beyond repair. J Crew has some really nice choices, I don’t usually think to look there, though. So, thank you! 🙂 BFMD – painful but true.
