I own several kimonos but I don’t wear them too frequently. It’s a piece I love on others but not on me. I think it’s the confidence issue you discussed. I always feel like I’m wearing my bathrobe outside the house. I also feel they make me look bigger than I am. But, they are a nice overlay in the hotter months.
